More Awesome Than You!

So maybe you won't make fun of me, or you might.   I see there is a link to a Pay Plus site.  And I wanted to join...to support...to encourage...and to have an inside track to beg for some stuff we are all direly in need of.    However the Pay Plus site keep saying the URL is not on that server.   So are you still collecting and is there such a site in existence?    I love your work BTW and also that of Crammyboy...Big admirer of Crammyboy...

So what is the scoop on the pay site?

I didn't know you could do that! Of course, I didn't even know there WAS a front page until about two weeks ago ... and I've been reading the message boards for around three or four months, so, you know.

I get it.
Actually I was quite serious, cause I support lots of creators out there.  So it was a compliment to these guys if nothing else.
When I decide someone is deserving of support,  I always look for the pay link,   and if I don't find one I always ask.   
I guess because I have done some (very lame) creating and I know how painstaking and time consuming it is if you are trying to turn out quality ...  so since I can, I do my best to encourage those more talented than I.

In all honesty, I wondered if were a troll. I DO really appreciate the stuff Pescado Two Jeffs and Crammyboy do, but $40 is practically the price of a whole game. I'm just dumbfounded that someone would so readily by willing to pay that much not for a game, but what amount to bug and annoyance fixes for a game that you already paid that much for.

To each his own I suppose, but if you have $40 that's burning such a whole in your pocket you could always donate it to charity. *shrug*

Well it was a nice impulse. But yeah Pescado doesn't actuallly take payments. That would involve giving out information that could be used to locate him which he refuses to do (he claims there are people out to kill him :D)

The paysite thing is a joke as well as a way to try to keep idiots out. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Fortunately most of the stupidity is confined to Retardo Land.

The whole site is one big inside joke, you have to have been around for a while to get the joke, I don't enteriely get it myself as I'm not one of the original crowd.

The only thing that makes me laugh about this question is not that someone was willing to pay the $40 (didn't it go up for the addition of Crammyboy?), but that someone made it past the first page and still asked the question.

I feel the same way, I like to support creators whenever I can....not just in the Sims world.   :)  I appreciate the "open source" sort of value system, but I'd love to at least be able to buy folks like Pescado, Two Jeffs, Crammyboy, Inge, etc. etc. a round of drinks or something, you know?
