Title: Arrrrr copy of M&G stuff problem Post by: jolenedms on 2009 January 17, 03:57:27 I have never arrrrrred a copy of any sims game before so I am having a slight problem with my new M&G stuff pack. I can get it to install and everything is fine but what do I do when it asks me to insert disc 1?? I have checked all info that extracted with the game and can only find a reference to the Guid (sp?) but nothing about how to get around this. Also nothing at pirate bay on the thread i downloaded from.
I am a total idiot when it comes to computers and know I am not awesome at all. Hoping someone MOAR awesome will take pity on me and explain it simply so my pc dyslexia doesnt kick in. I'm grasping at straws here, but it sounds kinda like you got a download that had a keygen and an .exe file in it, labeled as the "crack." You tried doubleclicking the exe from within the folder you found it in, and it did nothing. Is this right? If so, then no, it's not going to work that way. You need to find the original game .exe file in your game installation folders and replace it with the version in the crack folder. Only then will it work. Running the cracked exe will not "fix" your original file as some other game cracks do, it's purely meant to replace the original. Hopefully your simple sounding instructions are what will work.
