Title: Sims have "zzzz's" while awake Post by: MrMugg on 2008 December 27, 15:37:35 I think this has something to do with my sims being asleep the last time I played them (which was when Pets was released). Now when I play them after all the expansions are installed, they were awake with "zzzz's" over their heads. I tried putting them to sleep and awake again, but that didn't fix it. Anyone know a fix for this bug?
Funny thing is that it looks like they are bored as hell with what they are reading. ;D (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v397/eqrp/The%20Sims%202/SimsSleepingAwake.jpg) Title: Re: Sims have "zzzz's" while awake Post by: aubreylaraine on 2008 December 27, 15:46:11 it'll probably go away on its own in time. i had a kid play with bubbles before she went to school and she farted bubbles for the rest of the day.
they must be reading a required high school reading list to be that bored. Title: Re: Sims have "zzzz's" while awake Post by: Callista on 2008 December 27, 17:04:21 I had a problem with my sim toddler still being marked asleep even after waking, so that nobody else could interact with it. I'd been letting the kid sleep on the floor... I solved that just by making the toddler the active sim and clicking "wake up" on it. Does "wake up" show as an option on your sims? If so it might be the same thing.
Title: Re: Sims have "zzzz's" while awake Post by: jolrei on 2008 December 27, 17:21:18 My favourite so far has been my teen girl sim, who got her first kiss want fulfilled and then went around for the next 5 sim days in a cloud of pink hearts, shopping, swimming, exercising, showering, making grilled cheese...
Typical stupid 12-ish F-ly behaviour. It went away when I saved and exited (finally) and didn't return when I started up again. Title: Re: Sims have "zzzz's" while awake Post by: birene on 2008 December 28, 10:50:31 Force an error on the Sim(s) in debug mode and the 'zzzz' will be gone.
Title: Re: Sims have "zzzz's" while awake Post by: J. M. Pescado on 2008 December 28, 11:11:09 I've actually discovered a way that seems to kill these effects. Perhaps I should put it on the Batbox.

Stuck effects are common enough to warrant it. This poor Sim turned blue while jumping through the water wiggler in the winter. She went around for the longest time with water spraying from her butt. She went around for the longest time with water spraying from her butt. And there's another spray of coffee on the keyboard. ;D As to forcing an error, for the stuck "first kiss" hearts, I forced errors all over the place. All that did was temporarily leave the hearts floating in a detached manner in some other room for a bit. Ultimately they would find the teen sim again and off she'd go with them. Quitting and reentering the game was the only thing that got rid of them for me. I should have taken more pics - a pool table with "first kiss" hearts all over it was quite amusing. The terlet in the same situation was even more funny. Title: Re: Sims have "zzzz's" while awake Post by: Assmitten on 2008 December 29, 04:24:21 Magicmoon: WIN.
MrMugg, are you boring your sims? |
