Title: The update process did not complete successfully?
Post by: empires on 2008 December 19, 05:29:33
Ok during the reinstall of the game right at the end of The Sims 2 University Installation it wants to check for updates.
The problem is that every time It does It will tell me that "The update process did not complete successfully. Installation will now terminate." What does this mean and is there a way I can fix it?

Edit: Searched 5 pages on results on Google and still could not find a helpful answer. This wouldn't have anything to do with Secrurom would it? I tried removing it but I'm extremely computer literate

Who does what with the where, now? Unless you are rufio, your pronouns need to clearly refer to something. "every time It does it give me" What? Can you explain that using words?

Thank you for participating in Grammar Day.

Reinstalls are a pain. Remove University and try, try again.

Before you reinstall, try disabling auto-updates, and download the patches directly from EA.
