Post by: Maygus on 2008 December 13, 17:04:10 I've noticed that the double "open me" window has that problem whereas the single "open me" window does not. I worked around it by using two single windows side-by-side instead of the double version.

If i could look into it i may see what got borked. The Asian Fusion Window from The Sims 2 Store ;D And luckily Havelock you are around. Do you remember you fixed those Life Stories Rug before? I guess one of the M&G rug has the same problem too. :-[ Title: Re: How to Fix the Problem of Window not Letting Light Pass Thru with SimPE? Post by: pbox on 2008 December 13, 19:55:25 The OpenMe double window has been fixed in the CEP a long time ago. Other than that, MaryLou at mts2 has made pretty much every windowfix you can imagine, including one for the OpenMe window, here: http://www.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=227813

That'll be Windkeeper. Here: http://www.modthesims2.com/browse.php?f=380&u=20458 though pbox is right about MaryLou's fixes which I also use. I looked into the way MaryLou fixed the OpenMe Window and found that it has something to do with the GMDC and GMND, i.e. the mesh of the windows, which I completely have no idea how to modify. Anyone good at that would not mind looking into this problem here ??? Title: Re: How to Fix the Problem of Window not Letting Light Pass Thru with SimPE? And I believe that if you have the latest version of CEP, neither of them is needed anyway. Title: Re: How to Fix the Problem of Window not Letting Light Pass Thru with SimPE? Post by: SiuPang on 2008 December 20, 05:58:25 Nononono, the one I wanna fix is the Asian Fusion window from Store. Not the OpenMe Window.
Title: Re: How to Fix the Problem of Window not Letting Light Pass Thru with SimPE? Post by: Havelock on 2008 December 20, 08:47:28 Like some of the M&G Windows and Doors the Asian Fusion Window has no entry in the NLO for the light.
As for the Rug the LS Rug was not broken, but the M&G Rug is broken beyond repair only EAaxis could fix it. Title: Re: How to Fix the Problem of Window not Letting Light Pass Thru with SimPE? Post by: Heli on 2008 December 21, 13:54:16 The Light Overridge is the NLO file for the package. All store windows and doors have the NLO file. It is only importent to load asian windows after other store windows.
The best way is to make underfolder for each store collection. All asian store windows work fine and have light. |
