Title: Bad Gosub Tree Number Error at every Sim Hour?
Post by: kikiluna on 2008 December 07, 15:38:16
Whenever the hour is up (at :59), the error pops up. It's been happening for so long, it's very annoying. I think it has something to do with an 'age controller'. So, can you help me?

Edit: Sorry, file uploaded! I didn't know which one to upload because there are like, five, to ten friggin' text files ;; I was confused but I just picked whatever. They're all basically the same.

Edit2: I have no hacks of TwoJeff's, or Inge's. I recently downloaded some Simlogical stuff, but the errors were happening before that.

You probably have an older version of a aging hack somewhere in your downloads (i.e., TwoJeffs' or Inge's); make sure you have a version updated for your most recent/highest EP.

Oh, and attaching the error log helps a great deal if you want folks to diagnose an issue for you.  Read the FAQ in the Podium if you don't know how to attach said file.

Do you think it's because I use Boolprop sometimes?

If with "boolprop" you mean the debug mode (boolprop testingcheatsenabled true), certainly not. In fact, any player should play in debug mode on all the time.

Even if you don't use any hack on purpose, some can exist anyway, and you could be unaware of that. You could have downloaded them with lots. My advice is: binary search. You can find all the instructions in the FAQs.

Error is unrecognized. Once again, I point the blame squarely at tight pants.
