Title: music for certain neighborhoods
Post by: arogers on 2008 November 26, 17:49:01
Is there any way I can make certain music tracks (or stations) play for places with a theme like sims 1 did?

For community lots, there are speakers (found in the stereo section) for every music type. Maybe that'll help.

You mean without having separate game folders?

I think he's referring to hood mode. Like the vacation destination in vacation for example.

It might be possible through editing program files, but if you value your game, don't go in there too much.

Well what he could do is put custom music in the EAGames-The Sims 2-Music-nhood folder and then in game toggle which songs he wants to play whenever he feels like it.

No. But something weird happened to me before when I put some custom songs to my Buy folder, those songs were always played at Downtown's 'Hood mode. Anyone knows why? Or is it normal it plays Buy mode songs at 'Hoods?
