I don't know what I've done.  Or if I've even done anything.

I downloaded the Spore torrent from TPB by Reloaded, going by the praise that reloaded gets for its torrents.

It downloaded, extracted, and the ISO is being seen. 

But it starts downloading and won't load anything past the first few files.  After that it claims that the files it's trying to install are listed wrongly in "setup's .cab file".  I found several cab files in the iso, but can't open any of them without them turning into goobily gook in notepad.

Did I do something wrong?  Or is the torrent just broken? 

I really don't want to have to waste another 2gb+ downloading the torrent again, but will have to if I can't find the .cab file that it's referring to.

When you start a torrent, a box usually pops up asking which files you want. Maybe you could try just selecting the CAB file/s you're getting an error on?

Doesn't give me an option as the files are split rars.

I'm trying to obtain a working version from a friend of mine in exchange for other arred goodies.

After googling the issue, I have not found a reliable fix.  Some people suggest removing ram, installing numerous times and closing background tasks. 

Try checking your menus. All torrents come in split rars, you can still usually select individual files.
