Title: Is it safe to delete the Sims2Launcher?
Post by: hedgekat on 2008 October 31, 04:32:14
I have just reinstalled BV after having to have a reformat to repair damage done by Securom.  I have my no-cd crack installed with desktop shortcut pointing to it.  But that launcher in the folder still makes me nervous.  Can I get rid of it without some kind of disaster striking?

I have deleted mine and my game patches just fine.

Why do you need the launcher to patch the game?  Just download it off the EA site.  Remember, when you patch, you need a new no cd.

Yes, delete it.

Thank you.   I'll get that little snake out of there right away.

I've already downloaded the patch and a no-cd to go with it,  though I will play it for awhile without to see if I need it.  Many of my eps have gone unpatched.  With a dialup connection I can't download the big ones.

By the way, does anyone know what the TS2UPD0.exe does?   Uploading to the exchange perhaps?
