Title: Whats in your UserStartup.cheat File? Post by: Gamblor on 2008 October 22, 18:32:51 Just wondering what everybody is using in their startup cheat file at this moment so I have an idea on which ones I should use in mine. Do they need to be in a certain order on the list to work correctly? Will some cheats stayed enabled do damage to the game?
I am going through the cheats list at Snooty Sims and trying to decide which ones will be most useful in my game that I should add in. Any Awesome ideas about this topic would most defiantly help me out on my quest. Title: Re: Whats in your UserStartup.cheat File? Post by: Gamblor on 2008 October 22, 20:15:38 Thxs Zazazu ;) Thats an awsome setup you have for the userstartup cheat. However I may drop the visiting sims down to 12 since I think my card won't handle 30. I have a hack that allows 12 sims on each lot only will the maxTotal cheat over write it? One last question what is the faceblendlimits cheat do?
Title: Re: Whats in your UserStartup.cheat File? Post by: Zazazu on 2008 October 22, 23:52:44 I keep thinking about popping the visiting sims up to 40. I love packed community lots, and my computer giggles at everyone's problems.
I'm not 100% sure about the maxTotal cheats overwriting. When in doubt, remove and go by the instructions of the hack you have. Mine is based off of Jordi's LotFullofSims. Faceblendlimits...if that's set to on (default) then children born will be skewed towards the facial templates, either EAxis or any set of defaults you may have if present. This can provide some unexpected results if you have a genetic blend that doesn't closely resemble any of your templates. A big issue for me...I have six or so sets of face replacements that I switch in and out. Title: Re: Whats in your UserStartup.cheat File? It also works for any other cheat that requires numerical input- for example:alias ff "familyfunds" Type 'ff smith 20000' to set the Smith family fund to 20,000 simoleons in hood view. The spaces are important, though. Nice trigonometry! :) Title: Re: Whats in your UserStartup.cheat File? Post by: simerette on 2008 November 08, 19:35:34 I have looked on the site and did not see my problem with the changelotzoning community that I am having. Sorry if this a repeat or not in the right area. I have all the EP up to FreeTime and this cheat is not working for me. I made a resident home and would like to change it to community. I have done it with the word like this changelotzoning community and like this changeLotZoning community.
Thank you Simerette Title: Re: Whats in your UserStartup.cheat File? Post by: seelindarun on 2008 November 08, 21:02:05 Did you save, exit, and reload the lot?

If you type any character that is not a coorect alias/ command the cheat window will expand. The tilde isn't aliased in the globalstartup.cheat file, at least not in the UK version.Title: Re: Whats in your UserStartup.cheat File?
