Title: Bad Gosub Tree (I have searched.)
Post by: LadyCrimsonSkye on 2008 October 19, 04:36:22
I don't think I'm good at searching the forum, and I'll admit to sucking at searching with google.

2 days ago, I uninstalled, and re-installed my Sims.  I have Eps through Seasons, with Kitchen and Bath, Glamour Life, and Family Fun stuff packs.

I'm playing in Strangetown, with the only CAS sim, in my entire game.  She and her husband can not interact without a "bad gosub tree" error.

I've tried sorting through what few hacks I have, but can not track the source to this down.  Please help?

I've attached an error log, and can also provide a list of hacks I'm using, if needed.

Should be fixed now. Reupdate nopedostalkers. Stupid out of order crappy stuff packs.

Thank you, or is that Baaaahh!?

I try to search, and be careful, but ever now and then something sneaks in.

I'm also getting, though not nearly as frequently, a Bad gosub tree number #177, and it says something about Skill tracker...

Any ideas?  I can provide a log for this too, if necessary.

You know the rules: Log or it didn't happen.

This is the same log as last time! Did you reupdate?

Craaaaap.  I'm really not good at this.  I'm going to be happy with the way it is right now, and post a log (in this thread) the next time it comes up.

Thank you so much for your help.  I really really appreciate it.

LadyCrimsonSkye, you're really not doing very well at this, are you!   :-*

No, I'm not.  I try, but what little I know, I've learned by lurking here, and although I can normally work out what's wrong with my game, I'm not really very good at anything too technical.

Would it be safe to delete everything in my error log file right now, so I have all new when I start up my game?  Or would that be a big NO-NO?

It's ok to delete all those files.

New Error log, hopefully.  Please feel free to whip me, if I've messed up again.  I like it.

Stupid out-of-order crappy stuffpacks. Try new update to comm-skilling.

What does out of order crappy stuffpacks mean?  Do I have them installed improperly?  Seems much happier now that I have the updated comm-skilling.  Thanks for the help.  I'll be giving it another test this afternoon.

It's a coder thing. Nothing that concerns you, you are too stupid.
