Title: Stuck in Build/Buy mode when trying to call a taxi Post by: msalwaysright on 2008 August 26, 01:07:45 The first time this happened, I thought it must just be a fluke, but I've recreated it several times now.
If I send a sim downtown by having them walk or drive to the lot, everything works fine, but if I send them in a taxi, everything is screwed. They arrive downtown fine, interact normally, then, when I click on the phone booth to call the taxi, the game goes into build buy mode with live mode greyed out. I never get the 'call taxi' option, this happens the second I click the phone booth. My only option is to exit the lot. Game specs: All EPs and SPs, MATY DC, ACR, INSIM object edition, Build/Buy enabler(I did try taking that out-no change), a few misc. hacks that have caused no previous problems. No phone related stuff other than what's in the DC. I'm really hoping to avoid the whole, take it all out, binary, etc. |
