Give us money! We require US$2500 to pay for all of Cheezserver fees for 2009. This amount covers MATY, PMBD, the booty, and other Pescado enterprises.

There are three ways to contribute:

1. PayPal - send your donation to cheezserver by clicking here (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations&business=cheezeserver%40live%2ecom&no_shipping=0&no_note=1&tax=0&currency_code=USD&lc=US&bn=PP%2dDonationsBF&charset=UTF%2d8). Please note that PayPal charges us a small fee for converting from other currencies to US Dollars, so keep that in mind when choosing your donation amount.

Example: a recent AUS$20 donation to the booty was converted to US$16.02. AUS$1.18 was taken as the fee; the rest was then lost in the exchange from AUS$ to US$.  (If you're curious about the conversion rates; i.e., how well your currency's doing against the US dollar, check out xe.com (http://www.xe.com/ucc/).)

2. Check or money order - make them out to Cash, if possible, or K Debus if you cannot make them out to cash. Mail to: K Debus, PO Box 696, Round Lake, NY 12151 USA. Be certain to put your MATY/PMBD screen name in the subject line of your check or money order so we can send a PM receipt.

3. Buy MATY/PMBD gear from the Cheezserver Zazzle store! (http://www.zazzle.com/cheezeserver/products) The store is open now. Check out the merchandise in the Buy Stuff! thread (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,13132.0.html)!

- Cheezeserver must be paid for in late December, so please plan to donate by December 15th, 2008.

Because I am a tight wad, I have not donated funds.  I suppose that since no pointy sticks have been shoved at me (yet) I will pry open my wallet.  Which brings me to my next question... how little is too little?  I am tight fisted for a reason, but willing to make a sacrifice of the monetary sort.  All other sacrifices are strictly for recreation.

If you're sending via PayPal, $3 is too little. I wouldn't send cash through the mail, hence the check or money order. You can get inexpensive money orders at the post office.

As far as updates, I'm keeping a running tally in my sig line here and PMBD; I will update every evening (US Eastern time).

As funny as it might be, I do not suggest that anyone using money orders writes anything in the Payee line other than what they're supposed to.

Some banks won't accept Third Party money orders, and there is no way for Hecubus to prove that she is HecuBoss Sucks.

The memo line is what that is for. Tellers get a kick out of it. I got one once that said "For hot, rough, monkey sex."

Well, even for me $3 is a little pathetic.  I was just making sure it doesn't have to be over $100, $75, etc.  I don't do paypal, so check it is.  I will make a note to put oddities in the memo line.

How much for your daughterto bump up a custom title?  Or.. can a largish amount be split between PMBD and here?  Like $100= $75 at PMBD=whatever title and the remaining $25 might push ones custom title up a notch? Or whatever amount needed to get 2 titles .. woot!

At Enturb,org, people are coughing up money to change avatars, custom taglines and custom titles of other users for a week ($20-$50 US scale). MOAR FIGHT has already erupted there, spectacularly.

Considering that Paypal charges you a fee, does $50 grant a title of Baron(ess), or should it be $50 + fee?

Last time I went with the $50 + fee route by using the handy dandy  paypal calculator (http://ppcalc.com/).

If we wish to money order/check where do we send it, how do we make it out and then how do we let him know the title we want/earned?  I don't care If  JM knows where I am....because my life is boring, I have children so I'm usually broke and as much as I hate to be made fun of......sometimes I do deserve it.....fortunately those are the times I can laugh at myself......usually  ;)

I live in Canada and a church I used to go to usedthe rising thermometer thing for some fundraising.  Actually, I think I've seen it at more than one church, and several schools here.  I think it's pretty universal, reagardless of if it makes any sense or not.   ;)

Since my last donation gave me nothing but a sucky title, I want to make sure we all get something tangible from this one. I propose that all top donators be automatically named Senators and second place donators become Pages. But with no visible titles so of course we all have to guess which is which. :P

Hecubus, would you be able to tell us peons how much money MATY will actually receive from the sale of each item (roughly)? I see that the shirts have different prices depending on the color and the mugs come in different styles that also vary in price.

Suggestion: allow people to donate artwork year-round for MATY merch. (You'll get MOAR free artistic services, WIN.) Promote the merch site ONCE a month, to prod those interested in donating or buying who may have forgotten because they did not have available funds during the main fund-raising push. This may keep annual CheezServer-a-Thon fund-raising more simple and effective. JMHO.

Perhaps you could also make the designs that people voted for but didn't make the cut into "limited time only" designs. Offer them for a month and then they are gone. Either gone forever or for a year or so (like the fast food chains do).
