Title: Error with a pregnant sim
Post by: nainon on 2008 July 02, 15:29:06
I have a pregnant sim who hasn't shown any signs of her pregnancy, and 5 days or so have passed since the woohoo. Now when I happened to have testingcheats enabled, I kept getting an error every hour. Being as tech savvy as I am, I don't really understand anything about the error log, so if someone could take a look at it I'd be very thankful. If it helps anything, I have all EPs except Bon Voyage, no SPs, and the only hack I have that has something to do with pregnancy is the triplets & quads hack.

I think you need 'nopregannoy' by Pescado. I'm not sure if you need to download the Directors Cut for FT to get it though as I can't find it on the individual FT hacks download page.

I have it, but it seems to be an old version from February, whereas the one in Director's Cut is from April. I'll download the new version and see if it helps anything.

//That solved it, she gave birth straight away after coming home from work. Thanks!

Do you have the Inteenimator?  There are a number of odd woohoo and pregnancy glitches that have been known to arise from conflicts with the "kitten killer" and other hacks.

My thought is that nopregannoy may have solved the immediate 'sim not giving birth, but erroring' issue, but the 'showing no sign of pregnancy' issue may remain.  You may want to check for hack conflicts in any case.

The OP was oldversioned on nonpregannoy -- the problem with pregnancies stalling and causing errors when the sim tried to change into the preg mesh at the 25th hour was a known issue with the older version and FT.
