What does that mean exactly?

EAxis had changed a setting on the clothing and hair so that it wouldn't easily work in TS2 without the store edition. This is easily fixed, and I have done so.  :)

Thank you so much Simsbaby - are all the new things going to be up? There were 32 adult female whole outfits (I have the free one) and 19 adult male whole outfits.  If I can contribute in anyway, please let me know.  My husband says Thurs or Fri I can purchase some points ( I have to wait till he gets paid).

One observation - EA can make descent hair just not for TS2? In their defence, some of this hair does meet their high standards of barf.

1). One of the bun/twists things looks as if the woman has a hair colored growth on her neck.
2). There is a asymmetrical cut like the one that came with OfB, that was exposed to Chicago winds for a few hours. 
3). But the curly hair, from EA? Actually it all makes since, they want people to pay out the ass for the decent quality stuff that they have been holding back.

That would be really helpful, check and see what TashaFaun in The Podium has already got. Also, it might be a good idea to post and say what you're getting before you get it, so people don't end up buying the same thing twice.

I haven't, but I think someone said that the EA downloader corrupted them.

I don't know why that is, hang on, let me check in my game.

Fair warning: I tried to delete one recolor of one of the hairs (the short choppy one comes with 2 blacks) and ALL of the TS2 store hairs disappeared.  They were still in the DL folder, which is weird, but I've re-dl'd them to see if that fixes it.

That happens when all of the recolors are in one package. This time it isn't my fault though, as the files are as they came directly from EAxis. The only thing I did was compress them and change the product number.

I don't know why they aren't working for you. They show up in my game fine. What expansion packs/ stuff packs do you have?

What I'll do is Thursday before I buy some outfits, I'll check to see what outfits are already up, and then I'll post what I'm buying before I buy it so that way nobody else buys the same ones I did.  That way we all have the outfits up for download.

That happened to me too, just re-start bodyshop/the game and they'll re-appear...sans the group you deleted sadly.

Is there a way to be able to recolour these? I tried exporting them from bodyshop and got an error, and when I opened one in Simpe the texture files are only 128x128.

I'm not seeing any of the objects either.  I have all the eps/sps.
I am seeing the hair (thank you :D) and some of the clothes TaushaFaun provided but no objects.

Okay, I don't know if it would help, but I placed mine in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins\EA Store. Maybe you could try placing it in there, but besides from that I don't know what would be causing it.  :(

This stuff is new right? not the duplicates from EPs and SPs...?

That was the first hair to go after I had taken a look at them all. :) It would actually be a relatively attractive hairstyle, if EA had not felt the mysterious need to double our poor Sims' foreheads with it.

Even if someone wanted to buy some of the hair or outfits, they don't even have a decent picture in that pathetic "store" so you know what you're getting. They're small, dark and only offer a glimpse of what's inside (and they lack a big red "SECUROM INSIDE" warning :P)

I wonder what EA/Maxis *who ever made it* was thinking when they made the store. *laughs at the concept of them thinking about something besides money* In a way its a good idea for people who dont want whole expansions if you look at it from there point of view I guess.  Have the clothes been releases and is the one male hair included?

Are the objects, hairs, etc. made by TSR by any chance?

OMG this is the best laugh I have had for a long time.  What error have they not managed to incorporate into this new system?

I haven't been able to get the objects to show up.  When I went to make an EA Store folder following the above instructions, I found that I have a duplicate catalog folder. I have a catalog folder and a catalog(2) folder. Actually, I have several folders that are duplicated. This can't be good. Anyone know how I could have ended up with all these duplicate folders in my Sims 2 folder?

I have all EP's and GL, H&M, TSS,  K&B & IKEA.

ETA: I moved all of the duplicate folders out of my Sims 2 folder and the game works fine. It still baffles me how I ended up with duplicate folders. ???

The tv and the boockcase are missing FT functions... I don't know why I'm not surprised  ::)

Maybe ou can try to delete the duplicate folder ? Or at least put it on an another folder and start your game to see what happened.

All objects show up normally in my game (missing FT functions of course as stated before).

All hair too, but only 3 of the 4 male outfits and 4 of the 7 female ones show up. After I started the game the files of the non-working clothes shrunk to several bytes only (I think someone else mentioned that too).

Go figure the female hairs are showin up for YA/A but not female elders.But the one male hairdo is showing up for elder males.Anyone know how too link the elder female hairs?And that curly glam hair sucks it's ugly.

Only 2 female hairs have the elder version, the Movie Star 'Do and the Long and Wavy Hair.

I can't get the objects to show up either. I've tried everything I can think of, but, they don't show up. I didn't patch FT, could that have anything to do with it?

I made Collection files for Deco and Cubic sets, in case someone wants them  :P

EDIT: updated, cause didn't notice Cubic rug. Instead put Deco in Cubic collection. Now everything is in order!  8)

I chatted with Pescado about this in grah.  The objects are not showing up for people who have not installed the EA downloader because it creates a sort of Stuff Pack for them.  To use the files without the downloader, they must be converted to a base-game code.  It's easy: load the file into SimPE, open the OBJD, and edit field "0x0040" to say 0x1 instead of 0x1000.  Commit for each OBJD and save.

I'll upload the fixed objects once I have all of them done, and anyone who wants to can distribute them again.   :P

right I did download the installer which in turn installed the sims 2 store, however I removed it, the files I placed in my downloads folder and I used the collection files above and low and behold they show up perfectly so I would say you dont need the sims store program thingy, I have all expansions and stuff packs to date maybe they need one of them?, thank you for the files and also blackcat who made the collection files, I did notice though when the game installed it updated all the ep's and patched, so maybe this to could be the reason? even though like I said I uninstalled the sims 2 store, its weird its not showing for some people.

That's strange, I didn't install EA Download Manager but the objects showed up fine for me. I'm running FT patch 1 with NoCD.
Oh no... does it mean that somehow I inadvertently installed EA Download Manager?  :o How can you tell if this EADM shit is indeed installed or not? Does it create some shortcuts in Start Menu?


Same here, these 4 outfits seem to be corrupted. SimPE cannot open them either.

When I did the curtains, instead of 0x1000 the number is 0x0080 for the diagonal curtains. Do I change that number to 0x1?

I did, and they change into a different curtain on the diagonal, so don't do that, I guess.   :P  I'm going to do those over and report back.  Further, these objects need Pets or later.  They crash my OFB game, and in my FreeTime game, the pets can sleep and scratch on the beds.  I guess the downloader upgrades your game engine.

Also, that end table isn't the only item made wrong.  Many have too many tiles.   >:(  If someone else wants to volunteer to fix those, I'll have the base-gamed files up soon and anyone who wants to chop them down properly can have at it.

Anybody who has fixed the objects willing to share? :D

Anyway, the third patch for FT is out, and apparently the EA downloader from the store automatically patches your game with it ::)

Actually, the diagonal mesh reverts to Seasons Country curtain even in the unmodified original file.

I guess EAxis stupidly forgot to link the diagonal mesh to the straight mesh. Or they didn't make a diagonal mesh for this curtain in the first place. Note the blank tile on the left. Epic PHAIL.



This Store objects are treated like yet another SP between Teen Pack and FreeTime. As Teen Pack is based on Pets engine, it makes sense that this store pack is also based on Pets.

I could look into File fixing. I have done so many of them with the Castaway Files. I need only to know what i should fix(like, remove additional tiles, fix to many files)

HeHe another missing or wrong Diagonal Mesh, had the same happen with a CS Window. Stupid EAxis. The Diagonal Mesh is most likely missing was the same with the CS Window. Its also sloppy object cloning on there side.

The same thing happens with the window when it's placed diagonally. Stupid EA.

I've been reading Beancounter too much.

Okay, I have the object files in two different categories.  One is for working objects that you can put into any game that uses the Pets engine or later; the other has the five broken objects that someone else needs to fix, because I've been up all night and I want to go to bed.   :P  The broken objects are the curtain and window, which need working diagonals, and both rugs and the coffee table, which along with the curtain have extra tiles.  The broken objects will at least appear in the game, as I fixed that much.

Files removed, as they were further improved by others elsewhere in this thread.

These objects are on MediaFire and should be moved to stable, anonymous hosting once they are in working condition -- don't count on them to be available here forever.

I love it. How typically EA. A thread about arrquiring their newest products is now a 3-page thread on fixing all the errors. P&L at EA. Sad and tragic phail.

I really hope someone fixes the Long & Wavy hair to get rid of the fivehead. Otherwise, it's a really pretty hairstyle.

I also think the parting of the hair (is that how it's called?) in the middle is a little too much, but yeah, other than that the hair looks pretty good. So do some other of the hairstyles, and I love the outfit with the vest for the guys!

Just had to unlurk to thank everyone for pirating and fixing these exclusive Store items.  The Store itself is a pathetic testament to EAxis's manifesto of money-grubbing.  But the fact that the items being sold are so borked, that legitimately downloaded stuff isn't showing up - sad.  Not surprising, just sad.

I don't know who comes up with these ideas for EA or who does their marketing, but they should be fired.  This Store could have actually been a marketing coup for EA, if they hadn't gotten greedy.  The community HAS been asking for the ability to pick and choose Stuff Pack items, so launching a Store with these items would have said that EA listens to the gaming community.  Leave off Suckurom, don't forcibly install patches - just let people download Sims2Packs.  This would also mean that Mac users could download these items which could mean some serious cash for EA.  Most of the Stuff Packs haven't been released for the Mac yet, and not a day goes by without yet another preteen posting on the Mac boards whining about how Mac users are the whipping boys of the Sims community, Aspyr doesn't love us, etc.

Then release some of those exclusive downloads as free stuff on the Exchange.  'Cause some of the stuff like the male vest outfit and the new Teen Female clothing looks cute.  And if the stuff is borked when you get it in game, it's not such a big deal 'cause it was free anyway.  This would build some good will and customer loyalty, things of which EA is in seriously short supply.  And given that they're going to want us to re-up with the Sims franchise when Sims 3 comes out, they need to start working on coddling their customer base.

Apparently Celebration Stuff hasn't sold well enough for them to port it over to Mac. Poor Prof has been pining over the Celebration stuff for ages, but they just won't port it over.

That Celebration stuff... sigh. Some of the new cakes are cute, and I quite like some of the deco frills and new walls/floors, but everything is so cheap! Maybe it's just a quibble, but I don't fancy redecorating for my sims' wedding/birthday just to watch their environment score plummet while they walk around barfing at all their new stuff.

Maybe if I finally tried to figure out how to build a comm lot for weddings these things would actually come in handy, but aside from a cake or two and a plain ceiling lamp, I hardly ever fuss with that stuff at all.

the file i downloaded is a package file so you dont need to do anything with it except put it in your download folder.  i just wonder if all of the clothes will show up in game.  i checked the file with clean installer and it lists about 10 different outfits.

i cant downlaod the object sets
it keeps taking me back to the downlaod file page after is says" you will be re directed in 15 secnds" and nothnig happens :S

I have repaired the Deco Window and the Cubic Coffeetable for now. On the Window i fixed the big gap caused from the Wallmask and have renamed the Resources pointing to the Open Me Window. Additional i had to give it two new guids for the Diagonal Window. Cubic Coffeetable is now on tile. Other stuff will folow if done.

Edit: removed Attachement search for the latest one at the end of the tread.

I'm beginning to be resigned to the fact that they aren't, in fact, going to release Celebration Stuff for Mac at all, maybe, and words cannot express my annoyance.  I would buy the darned thing legally if it were available.

But, Celebration Stuff isn't available in any form, arr-able or not, and as I said, I would reallllly like the cakes and the arches.  You know how many weddings I just threw?  SIX.  All with the same lame-ass cake. And I have several more to go.

Wow! How quick, I thought it was going to last a week or two until some objects were repaired. Thanks a lot!

So, 11 of 13 outfits I got are showing up. I think for some reason the other two were lost in translation. I don't see the LIFOs or anything in the skins package it created when I loaded the game. However, on the good side, I dl's these on a clean machine with only base game installed, and when I transferred the file to my main machine (all EP/SP -Freetime), everything less the 2 AWOL recols is showing up without messing in SimPE. The package is not compressorized. I guess I'll have to deal with customer support to get the other 2. They are the other recols of the men's hipster jacket outfit, so no one give EA monies for those.

men's black vest outfit (these to round out the sets)
3 teen female denim skirt with puff sleeve shirt

Thanx to all of you!  I was gonna download the stuff until I read all the details.  Does this stuff also inlcude their 6 free objects for registering?  I couldn't figure out at the store which ones those were.

Four of the six items are from EPs and SPs, so if you have all the packs, only two are new. There's a recliner that matches the Deco set, a green and yellow velvet dress, the Cameo Vase from Celebration Stuff, Power Mirror from FFS, a hairstyle from OFB, and the Cantankerous Splatters painting from NL. You can see them by going to Collections / Themes / Free Items. IMHO, they're not worth downloading, especially since it means getting the FT patch installed automatically, SecuROM upgraded and having to use the EA Downloader to get them.

No problem TashaFaun. I figured all the completists would be hedging for those. ;)

Wow, just want to thank you all for these amazing things. If I weren't so violently allergic to paying EA money ---tragic, I know--- perhaps just maybe I would've bought them. Ok, not really, since my whole game is arr'ed, but they look nice. Perhaps they unchained the code monkeys from the desks for a bit R&R in the prison yard and the fresh air did them some good.

I am having a problem with RapidShare. I downloaded one file from TashaFaun and now I get:

Also, sometimes it will randomly only let you have one download per hour.  It seems to be a standard rule, but isn't always enforced somehow.  Besides, isn't it Happy Hour right now, so you can download as much as you want?

I notice that too. Happy Hour I think is early in the morning. I know I downloaded a file around 7 this morning (Central Time) and it said it was happy hour and I didn't have to wait or enter the code to download.

Hey all, I was wondering if sucurom was removed from these items?  I'm assuming that yes is the answer, if I missed that post sorry, it is late and there are many.

I believe the Securom installs with the "Store" downloader thingy, so the package files should be harmless alone.

The packages are spywarez-free, according to Pescado. And yeah, securom isn't in them. The machine I used never became infected either, since I only installed the minimum needed to download (BG) and its patch, which the dl manager did auto-install, doesn't include securom (yet). My guess anyway.

You could try cloning them in Bodyshop.

Thanks SimOtaku - All I've done is save a pictures of the outfits I have.  This is better.  My husband says Thursday I can purchase some points.  I'm gonna try to do the $20 points.  I have to see if he lets me do that one or the $10 points.  Either way, when I get the outfits I purchased I'll share on here.

Thank you, TashaFaun.  I can't speak for all Mac users, but I know I most want the wedding cakes and the chairs. The birthday cakes would be great, too.  I like the looks of the arch, but I can live without it, especially since there are decent recolors of the original Maxis arch, but I haven't found any recolors of the wedding cake that worked at all.

I just tried to export the textures from one of the hairs (the blonde and pink one) but Bodyshop wouldn't let me export it.. Is there something special I need to do to the hair files in order that they become exportable?  I'd love to make some new textures for them.

I've got the french twist and short and choppy hairstyles if anyone is interested in them-I'd also downloaded the one sims celebration hair for adults with the flowers and the veil (lol and edited that crap out later for my own purposes) but if anyone wants them I can rar and upload as well.

Is there any code in the file that prevent us from export it from bodyshop ?

If you have tried to export from BS and it was not allowed, I think you should reply that thread to see what Maxoids will answer or they might ignore the thread.

I do not think people will want to buy stuff that they can not recolor so that will make the store lose a lot of sheep.

You need to buy each recolor to get them that is how evil the store is.

Do the objects have recolors? I haven't tried them in game yet. But if the objects come with recolors, then it's extremely greedy of them to charge for each clothing recolor.

Loki downloaded the Purple dress but because EAxis is stupid the file had the textures for the other Colors also. So i made them as Recolors of the Original dress with EAxis textures. Everything clear now ?

i dont know if it is the radiance lighting mod or if maxis is just retarded....(lol) but the unlocked cubic and deco lights ...all of them dont radiate light....will it be fixed?

OK I'm not sure if this is the right spot to put this but...

I've been updating some of these objects to make them the way I like. 
I jacked the decobeds comfort/energy to 5/6 single and 8/8 double using Lord Darcy's (Thankyou!) modified resources from his bed mod I have, updating the book case, Stereo to FT ect. If there is interest in these I could post them.

Now I'm trying to add slots to the Deco dresser so I can put pretty things on it,  but I am having problems. 
I extracted the slot resource from a dresser of the same height that you can put things on and replaced it in the art deco dresser but it isn't working.   The item goes into the dresser instead of on top of it. Then I tried changing the BHAV init too but nothing changed.  Can someone help me with this?

I attached (I hope) the messed up version if anyone wants to look at it.  It didn't crash my game .. just doesn't work the way I want it too.

Thanks so much to you all for working with these things.   I went to TheSims2 site to see about that Apartment EP...Skipped FT,   but I really could use help with multiple dwellings.  Well, I logged into the SimsStore to see what was being offered.   When I read that you had to install two other programs to download and use this stuff,  I sighed and shut it down.   I have had a computer destroyed by SecuRom...USB's burned out, CD drive borked...all the standard Sony technology destruction.   So,  here I am for the first time in my computing life using a crack...and will have to wait for the Apartment crack before I buy that.... It's a shame that they are using this tactic now to get this program onto people's machines.   I'm wondering why...and why be so adamant and forceful about it?  Could it be more than just a way to copy-protect?  Are they farming out cycles and resources from Sims players equipment to interested parties?  All kind of conspiracy theories play in my head.
Long story shortened...right after I backed out of their "fantastic deal"  I headed to MATY and sure enough the wonderful Pescado Patrons were on the case.  Thanks for fixing the Maxis crap and for sharing.   I for one have no complaints, this site and the people here have been GodSent.    Love you all,   K

Everything works great except i can't get the rugs or curtains to show up in game. Were these 3 items fixed?

Hello everyone. Delurking here to post fixes to the deco and cubic sets.

Besides the curtain with no diagonal and the stuff with too many tiles I found several other issues:

The deco living and lounge chairs had issues with their GMND's, making some subsets not update their textures properly.
The dresser had a whopping 1929 vertices extra, in an unused subset.
The window had duplicates of three textures and material overrides/definitions. I removed these from the window that havelock had fixed already.
Finally several of the objects from both sets had mixed up groundshadows with wallshadows, making the walllshadow visible at all times.

Hopefully all of this is fixed now. Let me know if you find any problems with these files.

Richief from what I've read in this thread it sounds like you need to look in a folder that the EA downloader has made, most likely found under your Computer/ProgramFiles/EAGames/Sims2Store - I'm guessing.

I just noticed that the cubic barstool was unreasonably huge at 1.4MB.
Looking inside I found 111mp3/sound files, 27 "track settings" and 27 "UNK:0x7B1ACFCD". Surely they have no business being there?

I fixed the decorative slots on the top of Deco dresser, using the resources extracted from GLS low dresser. I based mine on the fixed version by Goggalor (thanks!). You may have to sell and rebuy Deco dresser for it to pick up the change.

ETA: Updated Deco Dresser again. Attachment removed, now included in the collection.

I open bodyshop to check them now. Sims2Pack Clean Installer show only show pic of the red when I click on any of them, but SimPE show that each file contains all 3 recolors.

Wow! Thanks Lord Darcy!  Is is possible to explain where I went wrong? I was using a resource from a mod that enabled slots on maxis dessers that originally didn't have them.  Or is their a tutorial on this somewhere?  I tried googling but phailed.  :( 

You forgot to fix Text List 0x90 (Model - Bones), which the game uses to find matching blocks in the CRES.


Can you give me link to that mod? I have a similar unfinished mod which enables deco slots on 1-tiled OFB small dressers (like FFS and Pets dressers) on my backburner.

I'm having issues with the empty packages as well-redownloading the files to see if they'll work this time as they're not showing up in my bodyshop either. More maxis stupidity perhaps -shrug-


Then again I just redownloaded and it's the same issue-empty packages that I apparently paid for-more maxis screw ups. Typical.

The mariachi one is the blue vest one and the cowboy one is the one with the blue shirt and cream coloured chaps however in sims2pack clean installer it shows all three textures. The embroidered jacket outfit is the one with the grey jacket.

Look into the files if we have all Textures of the Outfit in one Package we could maybe make working recolors. Dont give EAxis more money as needed. All i need are the big Textures called LIFO.

ambodycowboychaps_bluecream.package has all 3 big LIFO.

ambodymariachi_brownblue.package has only 1.

afbodysilkembjacket_green.package has only 1.

afbodydressshiny_silver.package  has only 1.

Thanks!  The mod is from TSR by Anoeskab it is called  maxis morefunctional dresser addon and maxis morefunctional superset.  There are two.  I got it from the booty.   There is a seperate file for each Maxis dresser within the RARs.  I pulled the slot file from one of them.  I didn't realize you had to do anything other than just replace the slot file. I'll read the link you provided, see if I can learn something from that.  Thanks again!

for those of us that haven't DLed directly from the EA store we don't have the psuedo-stuff pack location in our EA folders that simpe could potentially reference the gmdcs, gmnds, cres and shpes from or anything like that, so I'm thinking this is possibly the only way we'll be able to get our hands on the meshes to manipulate?

Also, I have seen perhaps two or three things I would have downloaded if not for the fact that EAxis wants all of our monies. Because clearly $300 for each Simmer wasn't enough.

I agree with the whole money thing, however (and please don't throw eggs at me) games like WWC and other PS3, X-box, PS2, games charge you for extra maps.  But with those they are working maps that do not require gamers to fix them before playing with them.  I don't like the idea of them continuely charging us out the nose for every little thing.  And to top it off, they don't work, and we get a nasty little malware with it.

I guess what I am saying is I can see both sides of the fence.  I just like it on this side.

I probably should have stayed in perpetual lurkdom, but I wondered why the Deco build items and curtains won't show up in my game (when the other items do show).  I downloaded the fixed Deco items from the first page.

I'm having some trouble with the clothes now. I've been downloading clothes as they were posted and they were all showing up in BodyShop with no problems but now that I've added more to my game, some of the outfits that were showing up, no longer are. Like the teen female clothes, the only outfit that shows now is the Brown Pottery Pattern Dress. The last time I was in BS before that, I had all the clothes for teens except the Pink Celtic Cutie and the Choker dresses. I'm missing several of the female adult outfits now and for the guys, I'm now missing two of the Hipster Jacket outfits that were there before. Anyone know what's going on?

EDIT: Nevermind, I fixed it. Somehow I ended up with single package files of certain outfits (like the African Skirt & Top outfits) that were also in those combined packages that have multiple outfits in one package file. I deleted the single versions and everything showed up.

Thanks again for everybody who shared (this is like the 3rd time I said thanks in this thread :P). All these uploads and fixes have been so... overwhelming. I'm not sure which one I should download, I guess I need to go from the first page all the way to the last one...

I updated Deco Dresser again, to allow more small objects without moveobjects cheat on. In my first version, I enabled it only to be equal to other small dressers like the ones from OFB or GLS. I forgot to modify private BHAV, as in my unreleased mod I lifted the weight restraint of dresser deco slots on the semi-global level. If you've downloaded the previous version, please get the updated version attached below. You may have to sell and rebuy Deco dresser for it to pick up the change.

Forgive me if I've missed this somewhere, but, are there any color options for the Cubic bookcase? I'm only seeing one color in-game, and the rest of the set has different variations and woodtones. Goggalor thank you for your fixed Diagonal Courtain but you have removed the lead tile of the Straigt version this causes no one could place anything in front of the Window with the Courtain on it.
However i used your fixed diagonal and have build the Courtain from scratch it works now straight and diagonal and you could place something in front.
I have also fixed a mistake on my side with the Deco Window what caused if you have used the Eyedropper Tool on the diagonal Window you got a Openme Window not a Deco ones.

I have added the attachement from my first Window and Coffeetable fix and added the fixed Courtain also.

Actually that wasn't the problem, the problem was with the semi global. And there's a fixed one on the last page ;).
The lead tile isn't necsessary on a one-tile object if you change the 0x00A and 0x00B fields in the OBJD to 0.
EDIT: In the case of the curtain this is true. There may be other objects that references the lead tile in the code I think.
EDIT2: Nevermind I was sure when I tried the fixed one yesterday that it was working but perhaps I should have just gone to sleep.

The problem with the Semiglobal was caused by EAxis the assigned the ourtains Global witch only exists as a name wrong written.  :P

Hehe, actually all straight curtains I try to clone actually have that "urtainGlobal" Silly EA.
After more tries it seems my fixed version works after all and you don't actually need that lead tile but since yours work too there's no need to reupload it.
I was wrong again. Oddly it works on some walls in my game but not on others. Well well...

Was the problem with the ground/wallshadow fixed in your coffeetable?

EDIT: On a side note; has anyone had any luck with running the compressorizer on these files?

I am not sure for the Coffeetable shadow and there is another prob i could not fix one side of the Table is not allowed against a wall.

Compressorizer worked fine with them.

If you put the objects and skins under Drive:\Users\Username\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Store Edition\Downloads\Objects\ and Drive:\Users\Username\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Store Edition\Downloads\Skins correspondingly, the game will install the items itself as if they were just downloaded using download manager, provided that you already have Store Edition installed!!!

Wonderfull Idea now everyone should better remove his/her Attachements also.
The Hair needs to be categorized also. No one would take a shower or sleep with a Tiara on his head. Most Hair should be in Everyday/Formal only.

And if someone could do the elder version of the hair, it would be cool.

I have a error when i try to create the elder version of the hair in BodyShop... Is there a way to do it with SimPE ?

I tested the deco items in-game today and had no problems with placing items in front of the windows or curtains.
The bed, aside from being butt-ugly, worked fine as well.

Good about the bed. If you downloaded the set today in the post on this page then the curtain is the fixed version by havelock. If it's from an older set I suggest to re-download, I had varying test results myself with the older one I did.

Um... I'm wondering if there are the pre-modification versions of the hair styles since I really don't want them to bear the tacky custom asterisk icon. I bet there are also people who have installed Store Edition and can therefore have the original hair styles show up bearing the "Sims Store" icon in game.

You have to alter the last bit of the Product string in propertyset from 0 to E if you have Freetime or D if you have the latest patch or the store Edition installed. Its impossible to make the Hair for every Game configuration therfore the asterisk. So everyone could use it.

Apparently the sims store didn't appreciate my temp files being full as when I emptied them last night and attempted downloading the stupid mariachi files again they worked, (I know it's so exciting to get moar fugly ensembles yah?) and as such here they are.

I looked into Cubic Bookcase if there are any hidden textures, but no. EAxis typically disables recolor option for the objects with only 1 color (hence CEP).

I made it recolorable, based on the 7/4/2008 version of Goggalor's collection. Choose only one file, Pre-FT / FT version.

I have tried these packages and I am still having problems with the rugs, the coffee table and the window? Only the curtain is fixed. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Are you sure that old versions aren't lurking somewhere in your Downloads folder? File names were changed in the new version.

Finally, I have the rest of the outifts.  I've been trying for the last 15 minutes to get them to upload.  I gave up and got a mediafire account and uploaded them there.  I checked in bodyshop and all 9 showed up.  Let me know if there is a problem.

Maybe I explain a little bit more about how Store Edition works... EA requires you to download the EA Download Manager and then that manager will download The Sims Store Edition which acts just like a stuff pack. You have files just like those on your game disks... And then the manager runs the AutoRun.exe and install a new game called "The Sims 2 Store Edition". If you don't have FreeTime, you can actually play the game by running The Sims 2 Store Edition.... And inside the game, when you go for the credits, you will be able to find "The Sims 2 Store Edition" and you can also find the corresponding collections in Buy mode. I'm not sure if you've got the picture of how it's like or not. Intuitively speaking, The Sims 2 Store Edition is just a Stuff Pack but it is not completely installed unless you pay and download everything from the Store website!

Well, what I did with my store items downloaded here is to put them under Drive:\Users\UserName\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Store Edition\Downloads\Objects or Drive:\Users\UserName\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Store Edition\Downloads\Skins and then these downloads will be incorporated into "SCObjects.package" under Drive:\Users\UserName\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Store Edition\Packed\Objects or "SCSkins.package" under Drive:\Users\UserName\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Store Edition\Packed\Skins and a list of downloaded items will be kept track of under a file called "uContent.xml" when I run the game (I guess it's the incorporation process that makes the new FT patch required). Actually, the download manager just does the same.... So, there is not such a folder known as "EA Store" under Drive:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins

But for the fixes I just got, I put them under the ordinary downloads folder. Hypothetically speaking, the files under downloads should override those under The Sims 2 Store Edition... So, I am confused whether the fixes are not overriding or I got the wrong files.


NB. Alriite, I'm now conducting another experiment to see if it will work for me, for any other users who have stupidly installed Store Edition like me....
Well, the experiement is like this:
1. the SCObjects.package will be removed
2. all the object files of the latest versions will be put under Drive:\Users\UserName\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Store Edition\Downloads\Objects
3. the game will then be run

If it works out, a new "SCObjects.package" will be generated with the fixed versions incorporated into it.

Try moving fixed files where SCObjects.package is located, and rename them by adding z- prefix. It's the same way I was overriding outdated Stuff Pack objects prior to FT.

Do you have FT? As of FT, overrides for Stuff Pack objects work from FT bins folder.

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 FreeTime\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins

Not sure if it works for Store craps or not though.

Yea I have FT and the latest patch w/ no-DVD crack.... FYI if you haven't read this b4: a new no-DVD crack for v1.13.0.161 (the latest patch) of FT is available at GCW... It works perfectly for me even though I have Alcohol and other CD burning stuff.... SecuRom can just do me no harm when I have the new crack.....

Back to the chase, I have tried putting them under "Catalog\Bins" under FT but only the curtain does the override, Darcy... I guess the only way I can solve this shit is to remove the SCObjects.package and let the game regenerate it  :-\

OK... here is my test result... the game will incorporate new items into SCobjects.package/SCskins.package only if you have modified or simply deleted the uContent.xml file....

And now I can play with the fixed objects perfectly! Thx for all who helped!

OK, one bad news here: A New Bug Found with the Cubic Stereo!

When you turn it on, it doesn't have effects that other stereos have: circles coming out from the speakers and music notes coming out from the panel....

Could someone please fix it please?

I haven't tested it yet, but if that's the case, I wouldn't want it fixed. I like my game to look realistic and in real life, when I listen to music, there's no music notes or circles coming out of the speakers.

The effects while music is playing is working now i think, however there's another effect in the other stereos that is visible in the broken state.
I will look at that one tomorrow.

I didn't notice anything like that with the hair when I took pics. I didn't try the red hair though, but unless each color has a separate mesh, I don't think it's a mesh issue.

*sigh* The EAxis Store team responsible for all this LolPayShit don't have much understanding in object structure of Sims. They originally built it based off the FT vintage stereo, but forced it at the last minute into the clone of GLS Luxury stereo to make it compatible with Pets, when they should have used the base game stereo format. (They fucked up IKEA preorder dresser in the same way.) While GLS Luxury stereo looks similar in size and appearance, it actually has a very different object structure from FT/base game stereo. Luxury stereo uses its unique FX specifically designed for this stereo only (notice the sonic vibration in the center on the speakers), unlike most 2-tiled stereos cloned from the base game one. The target slots and CRES are all wrong.

I fixed it to use the base game stereo FX, with notes and sonic vibrations at the correct height.

The morons behind this LolPayShit really need to get themselves down to MTS2 and read the whole section of Modding Infocenter (http://www.modthesims2.com/forumdisplay.php?f=333). >:(

Oh, forgot to tell you that metal part is now recolorable as well in the fixed version.

No, the problem was with this one,  but nevermind. It's probably fixed in Lord Darcys version or it doesn't need fixing.

that's not actually a problem with the hair, it's a problem with your graphics card - are you on a laptop with a chip or a desktop with a crappy graphics chip / card in it? on my laptop with it's little graphics chip that could, the K&BI Stuff female hair with the bandanna wrapped around it looks like someone had sex with a power point when I view it in bodyshop (same problems you're seeing but way more extreme) but when I go into the game itself, it's seamless and how it should be.

Nothing wrong. The missing broken FX is normal, as Cubic stereo is based off FT stereo, which lacks broken FX as well. I thought I added broken FX in my first version, but it turned out I was wrong. So the only real difference between yours and my first version are slot height and recolorable metal subset.

I posted a new version, this time really with repair FX added back just like base game stereo. Though you wouldn't be able to see this FX in normal gameplay anyway, as the game disallows Tinkering for all stereos except for two base game ones.

Ah, thanks. I did a version with that slot and child node in the cres, but gave up when I saw that there was no debug option to break the stereos. So I wasn't sure what positions to put in.

I have a personal fix to bypass GUID check for Tinkering stereos, which allows Sims with low mechanical skill to break Cubic stereo by Tinkering. Though this fix has a side effect to allow Tinkering to all stereos, even for boomboxes and jukeboxes which lack repair slot, resulting in object error.

Is it possible please for someone to make a recolour in this hair for the blonde, so it is only blonde and doesn't have the pink it in? TIA

Sadly the nightmare will soon be reality. Remember the bloopers from the base game? They'll be unintended game "features" in The Sims 3.

I've just spent an hour sorting through all the EAxis downloads (thank you Lord Darcy and simsbaby) and have yet to see ANY of the lolpayshit. I'll check it out now.

EDIT: Noticed a few things. The first is this particular hair, that appears to come with a normal and coloured streaks variety. The problem is, the normal version is only avaliable in black. The other three hair colours only have the streaked hair.

It IS indeed intended, as Store uses the previously unused product number (0x0D) which is between Teen Style Stuff and FreeTime. Basically, Store is treated as yet another SP released between TSS and FT.

Some of this stuff IS nice. But I sure as hell wouldn't pay for any of this broken crap. If I were one of the naive fools who wasted money on this, I'd be pretty pissed, but they should be forced to live with their foolishness.

I did notice they only included one colour 9black) of the normal hair of afshortasymmetrica. I know aboslutely zilch about recolouring hair, so I don't know whether anyone can make normal variations for the other colours and a grey version for elders (why would they not include a grey version)?

Thanks so much for enabling these! I did notice though that the hair with the tiara still doesn't work for elders, it just shows up as the long straight hair. All the rest are fine.

knightguy you have forgotten to fix 3D ID Referencing File entrys for the Material Definitions they were in the wrong order that caused the missing Hair Base.

This makes me wondering why. The Property set is wrong the entry override0resourcekeyidx for hair has the number 5 should have 2,
override1resourcekeyidx for bangs has 6 should have 3, only override2resourcekeyidx for tiara is correct with 4

I guess I'd better keep watching this thread, since I've got a pile of stuff but I'm a little confused on whether I have the best possible version of everything. But it seems this is all definitely still a work in progress.

Ok Tasha it seems I have fixed it in game and now it's showing in BS thumbnail and everything.But the elder mesh looks kinda funky for that hair I see gaps on the side and in the back by the barette,but other than that changing that number like Havelock said seemed too work anyways.
I have all EP's installed except for Pet's,Bon Voyuck,Freetime.
So it's up too Seasons with H&M crappack for me.This might be why it's not working that great who knows,but I seemed too have fixed it for now anyways.
But as usual after playing the game for a while i'll find out i messed something up i'm sure lol.

Yeah I got havelocks elder for the Glam hair,and I just got Knightguy's Afpullback hair & Asymetrical hair and recolors too,but haven't put them in yet.i'm glad it's not an EP or SP issue.Thanks :)

I have a question. I have 2 rar files named AllTheSims2StoreNewClothes.rar & EAxis_Store_Clothing.rar that each contain SC_Hair_Outfits.package & SCSkins.package. The all the sims rar has the 2 clothing package files with a date of 7/1/2008 while the EAxis rar has the same 2 files but with a date of 7/4/2008. All 4 are of different MB size as well.

Which ones are the correct files? or have those items been recently freed as single clothing items?

Mine is AllTheSims2StoreNewClothes.rar - that's all the new clothes.  The SC_Hair_Outfits.package and the SCSkins.package is  just what somebody posted with the outfits they got in it.  Both have different clothes in them.  Hope that helps.

Thank You Jaldeer :) Both of those files in your rar are 6.36 MB & 6.14 MB with the date of 7/1/2008. While the same 2 files in the EAxis_Store_Clothing.rar are 5.85 MB & 5.65 MB with a date of 7/4/2008.

I was just wondering which ones where the correct fixed files & which set should i be using? The higher mb files or the lower mb files? or are these no longer needed? or Have the outfits in both those files been released as single package files?

I don't think it matters - I don't know why the MB size is different.  As long as the clothing is the same in both rar's, I don't think it matters which of the 2 rar's you install.  I installed my rar on my daughter's computer for her Sims 2 game and everything showed up.

Rhidavies, the file you linked seems to contain the exact same skin files as before - 26 Adult Female outfits, 11 Adult Male outfits, 6 Teen Female outfits, and the SCSkins and SC_Hair_Outfits bundles.

Oh, yes, please! I wanted to delete some of them, but am too scared to mess it up.

It's just separating the mesh from recolor package, that way if someone wanted to convert them or something they wouldn't have to dig through the package to find all the parts.

Thanks for separating all the bundles into individual files, but for some reason, I'm unable to download it.  I keep getting an "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" page after I get the "Your download is starting..." message.  I'm not sure if the problem lies with MediaFire or something else, but I'll keep trying.

EDIT: It's working now?  Sort of.  It's telling me that it's going to take about 3, 4 hours to finish the download, which brings me back to my old dial-up connection days.  So it's probably a MediaFire problem then, right?

EDIT #2: False alarm.  Maybe a whole bunch of people were trying to download it yesterday, too.  I dunno.  It works fine now.

I'm getting confused  :-[ If I download this last unbundled bundle, do I have to delete all the "body...." in my folder, and should I delete the scskins.package too, or keep it?

I do have a question about the items. Can you delete the ones you don't like (IE: Hairstyles and colors) or will everything else disappear? I saw one or two I'd like but I am desperately fighting to keep my Downloads folder from exploding and it's a losing battle.

I think there may be a problem with the servers. I tried that one and another of LD's (the Ikea stand alone) and got the same response. It's been that way for over an hour or so.

I do have one more question regarding Lord Darcy's option to place them in the bin so they don't show as custom content. Does this mean I make an EA Store folder within the bin of the most recent EP and place any and all items from Maxis there (IE the pre order goodies, etc...) and they will work? Or can I ONLY place the items from this thread in the EA Store folder and the rest in another folder in the bin? Also, once I buy the new EP do I need to move the folders into that bin?

Only objects will work there. Clothes don't, but as they are already de-customized they won't bear Star of Shame even in the Downloads folder. Although delete button may be enabled like any other cc. Not sure about hairs, never tried.

Doesn't matter. Store items are not much different from preorder stuff. You can put them all in the same folder, if you like. Make any number of subfolders in any name as you like.

They will show up between FreeTime and Bon Voyage if you have all EP's.  I did need to CTRL/right click on the elder thumbnails to get the pic to display correctly but the hairs work fine. 
Note credit needs to go to HystericalParoxysm for the 5 head fix on the longwavy hair and Knightguy, Havelock and Roux for elder enabling.

Strange, I don't have neither the sims store nor the latest patch but all the bodyshop stuff with 0xD flag shows up fine for me without that CC star ??? Does that mean I have the store edition installed without my knowledge?

I have come out of semi-permanent Lurkerdom just to say thanks for all your hard work on these and to ask, are the updated files all on the first page?  I just read through the entire 17 pages of thread to find the most recent ones and the fixed ones, but I dled from page 1.

Does anyone know why the Clean Installer would call all the objects "hacks"...turns them bright red in the listing?  Are the objects doing something that I should know about?  Some buried programming in them,  like spyware?  Or calling home...to let EA spy on my system.   Call me paranoid,   but they are getting way out of line.   Please advise...K

All Maxis Downloads are flagged as hacks by Cleaninstaller. The Cleaninstaller thinks they are Global Overrides but they arent. Nothing to worry about.

They sound like Celebrations items.  I think most people who wanted items from that SP just went and acquired Celebrations.

Not sure if fixes exist for them or not.

We may be able to repair the decorative objects even chairs may work. But the wedding cake will give problems. Cake needs Celebration SP. Thats wy downloading at the store creates a SP to update your Game with the needed funktions.

I'm confused over afhairshortasymmetrica, seeing as there are so many different versions of it. Which one has both normal and hideous streak versions for all colours and adult and elder ages (and is descustomised)?

Weird. I just put in the base game folder and it works perfectly.

On my to do list, but not high priority with fall semester coming up. I'm just playing with the object packages in "%ProgramFiles%\EA Games\The Sims 2 Store Edition\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins" and haven't really used them yet.


At the moment, there is no real complete set of streak and streak-less afhairshortasymemetrica. There is a recolored version of it without streaks on InSimenator.net linked earlier in the thread, but these do not match the colors of the original textures. I have a package that replaces the textures for blond and gray but does not touch red and brown. Eventually I plan on creating a set like you've described with the streaked versions under the custom category in change appearance, but hidden in bodyshop and CAS (just like the Maxis hair).

I have several subfolders under the Bin folder, which are full of EAxis-made official stuff and hacks with OBJD overrides. I move all of them into Bin folder of the newest EP, just for principle, in case something in the newest EP overrides anything. (Especially hacks with OBJD overrides, like my Celebration cake fix.) But I guess Store objects work fine under the base game folder, as they are not likely to be overridden by any subsequent EPs/SPs anyway.

It's highly likely that I won't change much, if I end up doing it at all. I'll probably end up packaging them all into one file and change the diagonal guid for the curtains to one of the ones that was dropped (Havelock said he created a new one?) They all work in the bins folder and there's nothing wrong with them that I've seen, so I don't see a reason to.

I like the way he did the bodyshop stuff. It was really neat and I assumed he was going to do similar thing for the objects. Besides, he's awesome :D I'd really love it if Argon's gonna do the objects.

I checked the table in my game, and it does indeed have Hunger: 100. I notice the table lamp by "Decorama Designs" gives out Environment: 100. The other objects seem fine.

Funny, I just noticed that end table thing last night, too.

Anyone else having trouble with the lamps? They provide a little light, but are basically worthless for lighting a room. I noticed this last night while decorating a room with the cubic collection. I'll post a picture later, if I can remember to. Pictures added. (And I do not have any lighting mods in my game, it's Maxis default lighting.)

I know some lamps don't light as well, or light with colored and therefore dimmer lighting, but these just seem wrong.

Well, I'm sure you'd be pretty full if you ate an entire endtable, too! Alas, sims cannot eat endtables, so the hunger evaluation is purely cosmetic.

Is anyone else having an issue with the deco window not letting light through?  I am using radiance lighting, which I suppose might be affecting it, but Maxis has failed at windows in the past, so I thought I'd ask here first.

Deco window is fine with normal Maxis light, but because its technically a custom light it is not supported by radiance light.

Fixed the lamps they cast now Basegame light. Fixed also messed up BHAVS so the could now change every Material to make the lit/unlit state visible on all Subsets.

There are new "spooky" themed items in the store. Weird. I had a feeling there would be something new today, and sure enough "Let us con you with shiny NEW storeshit". I get the feeling that this is supposed to be our lot of Makin' Magic-style stuff. I suppose the outfits would help with Asylum Challenges, but I am not looking foward to hundreds of Zombie townies in my tranquil little burg.

All clothes are Everyday, except Lord of the Night, Bride of the Night for adult males/females respectively and Just Put Together dress for children females which are both Everyday and Formal.

The two chairs belong in the previously released Deco and Cubic collections.

Would someone please be kind enough to list all the downloads for the store stuff all in one place? I tried following the links and ended up with a whole lot of open windows and no idea which ones to download.

ETA: It seems to me that after 20 pages, things have gotten mixed up a bit. Some of the links I clicked were edited to say that someone else fixed something...so it's easy to get confused. Personally, I don't care about the hairs and clothes, but someone else might. So, if someone could make an updated list...thanks.

Huh.  They ignored elders AND teens.  That's a change.

I am not sure whether it's really missing or not since I haven't installed them to the game. But from what I see in the .zip file, there are nine .package file. Isn't that all of 'em?

^ There are 10 files, 8 of the 9 Build Mode stuff (minus the one door) and 2 of the lamps.

I just tried them in the Downloads folder, and the Big Door and the columns don't appear in-game. Gonna try with Bins next.

I just installed these and I'm only seeing the windows and the "column of duplicate doom" (which is a two story column). The other column and the doors are not showing up.

The door and column don't work in Bins either (and I don't have an EA Store folder, I thought the 3rd patch for FreeTime created it?) and I *think* the big column, which does show up, overwrites the Simply Round Column from OFB. (Simply Round Column is gone, and the new one uses its catalog description)

Hmm I don't have that problem.

I see it listed as "column of duplicate doom" in my game with the correct description. The "simply round column" still shows up in the columns section.

My OFB two story column has been missing since I installed Free Time, so it may not necessarily be completely the fault of these spook objects that it is missing (though I find it interesting that it is using that catalog description... me thinks EAxis made a goober in Free Time to prepare for the TS2 Payshit site)
What EPs do you currently have installed? Just wondering to see if my theory is short of the mark.

Are you sure you're talking about the Simply Round Column 2 Floor Edition? Cause the smaller one, that's 1 floor high shows-up normally for me too.

Furthermore, the small Column and the Door that brzburns provided turn to 96-byte files after you run and exit the game which means they are corrupted, I remember people getting that when the Store first started, some of their downloads would get corrupted like that and they had to re-download.


It's confirmed, these all work. The huge door is really cool.

Things that might need fixing:

• The 2-Floor Column uses the catalog description of the Simply Round Column from OFB.
• The Gargoylite wall lamp costs only 1 simoleon.

Update - Ok so apparently I need to DL 300MB of the sims store edition on my PC which looks like it's gonna take a while.  I already have suckurom so *shrug* -  I already bought the hair, unfortunatly it will be a bit longer than I anticipated before I will be able to post them.

Thanks for putting these up.  You did the whole nine yards.  No custom content star and everything.  However, I noticed that while they are enabled for elder use, the mesh doesn't seem to support it?  It just goes to that default mesh-less stand-in hair when I click on it in Bodyshop.

EDIT: While it was nice for EAxis to include toddler and child versions of this hair, they totally left out teens.  Blah.

Yes you can just put them in your downloads folder.  You don't need to unzip them or anything.

Enabling the elder version is currently beyond me.  Perhaps with a bit of time I could figure out how to do it.  There was the same issue with the previous Store hairs as well and I know someone enabled the elders on them.

hopefully the chair can be fixed maybe EA/Maxis will catch it an update the chair....   (i sent the issuse to EA thru their customer Support "they claim i'll hear something in 24 hours)

Someone will have to remake the higher resolution textures, find a file that has the missing LIFOs, or delete the references in the TXTR and use the remaining mip map textures (think Numenor's LS object conversions, it's the same thing he did and that's why the textures were so lame).

Finding the missing LIFOs is the preferred option but highly unlikely.

I agree with you Dudeus - it's frustrating that they expect everybody to pay for their crap that's messed up. 

Edit:  I just now contacted them and mentioned to them that the chair is messed up.  I took a picture of it in the game just as proof.  As soon as I get a response, I'll let everybody know what they said.  They better fix it.

Her are temporay fixed Cubic Chair until we get the fixed one from EA, and a fixed Deco Chair who updates now the metal part also not only wood and cloth.

I love the way they made it sound like the fault lies with me.  I sent the report back in with this response and saying that it isn't my fault and they have to fix the chair - I'm suppose to get a response within 24 hours.  I'll post what they say when I get another response.  This is so frustrating.

Also Fixed the Spooky stuff, Windows could use all tree colors now, fixed diagonal one tile door to use recolors of the straight one. Removed tons of duplicate resources in all packages. At last Catalog entrys for all Diagonal Windows and the onetile Door are correct now.

I just have one question - I hope somebody can answer it - how do you enable hair for elders?  Edit:  Knightguy, I downloaded your 3 hairs.  I purchased that afcornrowbeads - which I was going to enable it for elders before I posted.  I looked at it in SimsPE and it says its for elders too, but, when I looked at it in bodyshop, for the elders it's the straight hair.  I had an adult female sim with that hair and when I made her an elder, that hair was the straight hair.  I have no idea what to do.  I'll go ahead and upload the hair and somebody with knowledge can enable it for elders.

the Elders hair textures are usually in the file but missing the base txmt, 3DIR gray hair needs editing, nmap txmt needs the gray base one added, the gray hair property set is usually messing up too

knightguy, I'm unfamiliar with the 7z format in which your Elder Enabled hairs are posted.  I seem to remember that it's another file compression format, but the Stuffit Expander on my Mac doesn't recognize it.  Is there a specific de-compressor that I need to have to open 7z files - a de-compressor that works with Macs?

You need a decompressor that supports .7z files, here is one that is compatible with Macs: Download (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/19139). It also supports .zip files.

Actually I think the jack o lantern is from the Spooky collection so I downloaded that. As for the zombie hair for children, toddlers and teens, I don't have any simpoints and I don't feel comfortable giving my credit card information to that site.

I tried to put them in Downloads, didn't show in my game. Then tried in Collections, same thing, nothing shows :(

weird everything works in my game  ???    what games you have?   have you tryed to redownload the files?

It was EAxis who has broken the Chair, they wrote this in tsDesignModeSlaveSubsets                 frame=(String) fabric, metal
which caused the game not to recognize the metal part as a slavesubset in designmode            frame=(String) fabric,metal  is the corrected string you see a simple space caused the metalpart not to update his color when you switch the Chair design.

Is the List on the Previous Page Updated.  I would be willing to grab a few items, I just don't want to purchase doubles.

the toddlers, childrens zombie hair, mummy hair, mummy outfit are or can be made to be uni-gender   so if you get those you only need get one gender

even the adult Pumpking Heads are for both genders so you only have buy them once not for both male an female

Thank You everyone for getting the new store stuff out for everyone :) I have 1 question. Inside the TS2StoreSpookyClothes(LordNight&BrideNight).rar file there is a package named SCSkins.package. Is this from the original clothing that was released awhile back? Or is this a new file with new clothing in it?

Witchboy, it belongs just to the Spooky clothes in that rar file.

i'd say it was clothes from the last update an if you have those clothes delete the file..............

That rar file is the one I uploaded and that SCSkins.package came with those clothes.  I just kept it together because I thought the SCSkins.package was needed.

Edit:  I took out the SCSkins.package out of the rar file since I'm guessing it actually wasn't needed in there.

well i deleted SCSkins.package an the clothes still work an show up in my game?  ??? 

   Normally, my Goofoo skills are half-way decent, but i've not been able to find the answer to this question. 
   Has anyone fixed the Cubic Bookcase to enable AL skills yet?  (aka - Fire Safety, Physiology, etc)?  Those skills are showing in my regular bookcases, but of course, EAxis failed to enable them for their own custom ones.
   If someone has fixed them, then i will gladly submit to P&L and multiple pokings with sharp, pointy sticks.  (As long as i'm directed to where they are).  :)

I already fixed Cubic bookcase to be compatible with FT. Once updated to FT, it should remain compatible with AL as well. It's included in the collection from the first post.

you have change the gender in property sets to 3  (1 female, 2 male, 3 both)

Thats because we made the first patch of stuff base game compatible. But there is a problem most store stuff has Code from pets ep or higher so this would not work proper in a game without pets. The pig gargoyle calls a Seasons Bhav as an exemple he would error if in a game with no seasons code.

The stuff provided by ZDiablo is flagged Basegame should be visible. The chairs from Richief ar flagged store edition so the would not show up.


Better left them in for now maybe somone more awesome than us could recover them as Custom Color.

It's not really quite like that.  If you install anything from the Store, it makes what is essentially a Store Stuff pack on your computer, which updates your game code to the Pets engine.  If you bypass the Store installation and the resulting issues, then you don't get the game code upgrade and can't use most of the objects in a pre-Pets game.  On my other computer I only have expansions through OFB, and I can only use the Store objects found in Body Shop, surfaces, and decorative.  i could probably use the other things if I installed the free objects from the Store, but I'm not going to infest my computer with the other stuff it comes with.

Which of course also means that picking up one of certain stuff packs on the cheap or by torrent would probably have the same result, but someone else will probably have to identify which pack(s) would do the trick.

Seriously is that it? The property sets of the recolors correct? Would that work for any hair?  Would it work for the afhairlongwavy.package if I wanted that to appear for males?
Would it work on a custom hair that has a separate mesh file?

Edit Edit - Ok I already tried it and see that it doesn't work for adult hairs - their are gaps in the "male" version of the hair when I tried to enable the female wavy hair and the short cut for both sexes.   Perhaps it only works with toddlers and children i'm guessing because their heads are the same size?

it works for children an toddlers because they have the same head an body types   but teens an up are a differnet story   they need a custom mesh since the shape would be differnet

fake edit: Apparently I forgot the adult female mummy outfit in the pictures, while I included twice some female/male hair/outfit that are the same (unisex). I didn't know before this that the toddler/child hair, the toddler/child mummy outfit and the pumpkin heads were the same for both genders, as in they don't need to be downloaded separately for each.

I feel like a total eeeediot, but I have to come to you guys for this one. I installed the spooky clothes and I'll be damned if they do not show and even disappear from the skins folder in my The Sims Store. Anybody know what I can do??

Here is a list of the last 32 items needed. I think now it'll be a wee bit easier to understand because of duplicate male/female items like the toddler hair and clothes. :D
