Title: CS Collection Files Post by: Emma on 2008 June 09, 09:07:07 I made some collection files for the ripped Castaways objects. I've uploaded them just in case anyone wants them. There are 9 files for the following categories:
Comfort (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/CS_Comfort.png) Deco stuff (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/CS_Deco.png) Doors, windows, arches and columns (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/CS_Doors_Windows_Columns_Arches.png) Plants and trees (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/CS_Garden_Center.png) Hobbies (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/CS_Hobbies.png) Lighting (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/CS_Lighting.png) Misc stuff (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/CS_Misc.png) Plumbing (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/CS_Plumbing.png) Surfaces (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/CS_Surfaces.png) Sorry for the little pictures, they are just to give you an idea of what is included in each category. I have no idea which file is which, I've just numbered them. If you don't want a particular collection file, you can just delete them in game. Image icon used for the files is this: (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/CS_Stuff_Icon.jpg) [edit] Added updated collection files 1, 2, 3, 4 & 8 to include devilsrope's PMBD Castaway items. Just download to collections folder and overwrite. Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: witch on 2008 June 09, 10:37:38 Good thinking Holmes! You obviously have the brain today. :)
Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Emma on 2008 June 09, 11:40:47 ;D
Your turn tomorrow! Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Cappuccino on 2008 June 09, 12:35:18 Those might come in handy in order to organize a little bit! Thanks Emma!
P.S. WCIF the doors and windows? I know devilsrope posted the fences/columns. Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Emma on 2008 June 09, 13:41:29 Umm, dunno. I'll have a quick look.
[edit] here (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,11149.msg314379.html#msg314379). Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Cappuccino on 2008 June 09, 14:04:23 Ah, thanks, with so many CS things to download I was bound to miss something. ;D
Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Havelock on 2008 June 09, 19:08:45 Emma have you BV? The reason i ask is i have seen in your CS Plants collection the L shaped Spiderlilly we have gotten with BV marked as custom.
Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Emma on 2008 June 09, 22:12:27 Yes, I do. I'm not sure if something is overwriting or if there is 2 versions of the spiderlilly plant. I'll check tomorrow.
Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Emma on 2008 June 10, 06:25:47 They are 2 separate bushes:
(http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/spiderpalm1.png) (http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Madsimaddict/spiderpalm2.png) The custom one is cheaper (§25) and slightly bigger than the BV one (§175). Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Havelock on 2008 June 10, 17:41:48 Where did you get the "Spidery Palm Has Company" from? I'm pretty certain I've downloaded all Stories content from this site and it appears to be the only bush that I'm missing... The "Spidery Palm Has Company" is the Spiderlilly we have gotten with BV only difference is the price and "Spidery Palm Has Company" could be put on slopes the BV one not. Emma have you arogers Plants or the one i have made? Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: morriganrant on 2008 June 10, 19:14:49 Baaa Baaa I say! I had been meaning to do this myself, but I am too lazy. So huzzah!
Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Emma on 2008 June 11, 06:11:01 Emma have you arogers Plants or the one i have made? I have them both Havelock. Why, wasn't I supposed to download them both? Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Havelock on 2008 June 11, 08:25:35 I have them both Havelock. Why, wasn't I supposed to download them both? Its your choice what you download. I only asked because i plan to make the "Spidery Palm Has Company" the same way as the other spiderlillys i made. So you wont have additional textures to load, your game allredy has them. And to avoid errors when Sims try to trim them (because they are not made to be trimmed, or has arogers fixed this issue?). I have not made them because i was thinking we have them but if one like to collect them all why not. ;) Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Emma on 2008 June 11, 08:32:26 Its your choice what you download. LOL I wasn't being horrible or snarky, I just didn't know if his stuff conflicted with yours :D I dunno about the trim thing as I use TJ's perfect plants. If you made yours 'repository' then I would download yours. Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Havelock on 2008 June 11, 08:39:39 LOL I wasn't being horrible or snarky, I just didn't know if his stuff conflicted with yours :D I dunno about the trim thing as I use TJ's perfect plants. If you made yours 'repository' then I would download yours. No they have the same Guids they could only override each other. Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Emma on 2008 June 11, 08:47:21 LOL I wasn't being horrible or snarky, I just didn't know if his stuff conflicted with yours :D I dunno about the trim thing as I use TJ's perfect plants. No, I mean I would take aroger's ones out and put yours in :D Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: devilsrope on 2008 June 12, 15:49:24 Emma, thanks for these. Would you be willing to add in the items I posted here (http://phorum.mustnotbenamed.com/index.php/topic,745.msg88394.html#msg88394)?
Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Emma on 2008 June 13, 10:32:34 Emma, thanks for these. Would you be willing to add in the items I posted here (http://phorum.mustnotbenamed.com/index.php/topic,745.msg88394.html#msg88394)? I will do it asap :) Probably not the recoloured Maxis items though, just the new objects. [eta] Done! Hopefully I got them all :) Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: devilsrope on 2008 June 13, 16:10:48 Hurray, thank you! :)
Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Kazzandra on 2008 June 13, 17:41:32 Here's a link list. Let me know if I miss anything of which I am unaware-- I know I've read of stuff cast way out on the interwebs. Feel free to post this elsewhere, too, once it's complete. Thanks Havelock, devilsrope, J. M. Pescado, Neph, arogers, Kabuto, Para and everyone else who helps make our island destinations :D

Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Havelock on 2008 June 30, 14:02:45 Can you convert the stuff from the research place? Like the huge chalkboard and the huge docks that you can place the plane under... Look in this tread http://phorum.mustnotbenamed.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=da4d60c75342475a0da3ddf8a90f6b51&topic=745.msg88394#msg88394 (http://phorum.mustnotbenamed.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=da4d60c75342475a0da3ddf8a90f6b51&topic=745.msg88394#msg88394) Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: DiscoNinja on 2008 July 03, 19:59:38 was wondering if anybody had thought about doing a double version of the professors bed that came with CS, i love its grungy rundown look but would like it avail. for my couples to sleep in too!
Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: anyerfillag on 2008 July 03, 22:28:09 I'm either blind or stupid (I'm going with the latter option) but I can seem to figure out which of the threads listed by Kazzandra includes the diiving suit helmet, that is pictured in the first line of deco stuff for the collection files.
Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Kazzandra on 2008 July 03, 22:37:02 Decorative crap in this post. (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,11872.msg336869.html#msg336869)

Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Richief on 2008 July 15, 19:37:51 I just noticed that native stove by Havelock is missing in the collection (Maybe because it's the only appliance :P).
Here is the link: Native CS Stove (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,11550.msg324661.html#msg324661) by Havelock Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Kazzandra on 2008 July 15, 23:30:26 That was an oversight on my part, so thanks for pointing that out. Win/win, because I just got something that was missing from my collection, and the link list is now more complete.
And there was much rejoicing! Title: Re: CS Collection Files Post by: Emma on 2008 July 16, 08:03:34 Yeah-just make your own 'collection' for that one item :P
