Title: About to install OFB; what should I do in terms of CC? Post by: Milhouse Trixibelle Saltfucker III on 2008 May 26, 15:22:18 So, I have had Uni and Pets since I got TS2. I installed them before I put any CC in, so this is an unprecedented occurence for me. Now I have OFB, but I think I ought to ask before installing it: Do I need to check all my (metric tonnes of) CC before installing, or shouldn't it be a problem, since I already have a later EP?

Post by: Kazzandra on 2008 May 26, 16:01:12 <ponders> I don't think you'll have a problem because you already have the newer engine provided with pets. Assuming everything works well with Pets, I can't think that OFB would cause problems. In fact, I installed OFB after Bon Voyage. I don't think any hacks or CC had any problems whatsoever.
But do remember to pull your downloads before installing OFB. Also back up your hoods in case it decides to create a whole new Sims 2 folder for you! You don't want to be that lucky. You'll probably want to look for hacks/mods that are specific to the stuff OFB adds to the game, such as Pescado's "Business Runs You", mods to make buyers shop faster, etc, etc.

Thanks for answering; it looks like the only difficult thing I'll have to do is sort through my entire folder of CC that I downloaded in advance for EPs I didn't yet have to try to find the ones for OFB.
