Post by: EsotericPolarBear on 2008 April 23, 16:38:33 Everytime I think "Hey, maybe I'll spend a little time trying to learn how to mod this game," I load up SimPE and after sitting through six hours of loadtime every time I want to compare different files, I give up and find something more constructive to do...like staring at a wall.

Obviously I'm exaggerating, but still, a 16 KB file should load in a couple seconds, not 30 seconds. Title: Re: Are there any modding tools that are not SimPE? Post by: Inge on 2008 April 24, 21:39:33 I quite agree. It would have been nice to have a library of Sims package functions to combine in various ways to form various smaller tools. At the end of the day though, no one has found the time to start over and make such a thing. In most ways, we're quite fortunate to have anything at all seeing as the rival ducked out before they'd even made something you could edit BHAVs in, and Quaxi himself became almost too busy to finish SimPE! Cheggars can't be boozers.
