Title: Is it possible to make the CS Native stove use his Fire while cooking? Post by: Havelock on 2008 March 29, 09:55:48 I have made the native stove working with stove globals from TS2.
He is now working fine as a +10 hunger Stove in game but because the stove globals trigger the blue gas flame and not the fire and smoke effect, he uses now the blue flame if a sim is cooking on top and nothing if he is baking some food. So my question, could one provide me some help if it is possible to make him use his effects also if a sim is cooking. Added stove as Attachement so one could look into it. Because the way you write suggests it to me. Title: Re: Is it possible to make the CS Native stove use his Fire while cooking? Post by: Havelock on 2008 March 29, 16:17:54 I was hoping for help but no. To answer the question yes i am a native German speaker.

(You can tell I hardly use the grills) If so you could try looking at those rather than the proper stoves.

Post by: Havelock on 2008 March 29, 20:54:01 The stove has the needed BHAVS and effects included but is missing the global who makes him use them. CS Stoves use different Globals for cooking they trigger the effects each stove has as a private BHAV, in TS2 all Stoves use a global effect the cheap Stove also but the flame is hidden.

Title: Re: Is it possible to make the CS Native stove use his Fire while cooking? Post by: seelindarun on 2008 March 29, 21:20:57 Numenor has a coal stove which has an animated fire in the oven part. For that object he borrowed the BHAVs from the cheap stove and applied them to a fireplace; it's somewhat different than what you're doing, but possibly instructive?
Title: Re: Is it possible to make the CS Native stove use his Fire while cooking? Post by: Havelock on 2008 August 17, 15:41:58 Martel the stove was not finished and misses the firetexture because it uses the Campfire Texture from Bon Voyage Game. Whitout BV it would not work.

In my game, it looks fine except that there is that blue and white text stuff inside the oven and under the cooktop. Last time I had that with something, it was becasue I had removed a mesh. I have up to M&G, minus Pets. A pic to show what I mean: (http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/cd413150a9db9e897fb181768f61824f2g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=nmzzhzm5mgd&thumb=5) Title: Re: Is it possible to make the CS Native stove use his Fire while cooking? Post by: Havelock on 2009 March 28, 16:10:08 No Mesh needed. Add the attached textures to the Folder where the stove is and it should work.
