Title: In Game (Annoying) Message Boxes Post by: Simgoose on 2008 March 07, 06:09:59 ok, FreeTime has tipped me over the edge, and now I'm looking for a solution
I am sick and tired of the bloody hobbiests popping up saying, "you loosing enthusiasm for some crap" not only that but the message box that comes up saying your sims have gained a logic skill, etc. please some one... tell me there is light at the end of this friggen tunnel and a way to disable these types of boxes? some of them i would like to keep, ie bills needing to be paid etc. but not ones relating to skills or loosing enthusiasm. im sure there are other ones that are annoying, but this is a start. anyone got any tips or ideas or mods/hacks to limit/get rid of these?? but it still doesn't effect the skill spam messages etc. ill have a look at the nohobbyspam package see if its possible to edit with related code for skill messages. unless there is one floating around that will do this already. These messages were driving me nuts last night. I got FT so that my sims would have more fun things to do, not so that I could become a slave to their hobbies.

Suppression effect on having performed a hobby extended to a more meaningful duration, I.E., if you've done it recently, you don't immediately lose the point right afterwards.
