Title: No Autonomous Nature Interactions on Community Lots Post by: jfade on 2008 March 05, 03:43:14 I was TRYING to play my business lot, but nooooo!!! The stupid Sims had to run around the lot bird watching and collecting bugs instead! So I got mad, made a note, and made this. :P
This banishes those two activities from community lots and businesses that are currently open. It will not affect the SEKKRIT HOBBY LOTS or any other lots where it is normally allowed. Title: Re: No Autonomous Nature Interactions on Community Lots Post by: toriamos on 2008 March 05, 22:42:30 Thanks, I just had a wedding at a home lot and after awhile one sims was bird watching in the dark. Never thought about community lots, haven't been to one yet since FT so I will be using this thanks again.
Title: Re: No Autonomous Nature Interactions on Community Lots Post by: Ambular on 2008 March 06, 01:14:50 Drat. This'd be great for pure business lots, but kinda suck for say, a lot with both a park area and a gift shop. :/
Title: Re: No Autonomous Nature Interactions on Community Lots Post by: jfade on 2008 March 06, 04:13:06 Hmm, are you talking for playables or non-playables? Cause yeah, non-playables won't do it but it'll still let you order playables to do it.

Title: Re: No Autonomous Nature Interactions on Community Lots Post by: runswithscissors on 2008 March 06, 17:53:55 Yea, they don't need to be birdwatching while say dining out. I hated when my dates used to do that. Drove me nuts. ;) Thanks for this.

Title: Re: No Autonomous Nature Interactions on Community Lots Post by: BirmanKat on 2008 August 06, 18:00:25 I third it. I was trying to get my sim to go to work and he keeps pulling the binoculars from his ass to watch birds. And is there a hack that can get a more even spread on the hobbies? I made four families and it seems that most 9 out of 12 of the sims are nature. This means that they are all trying to watch birds/hunt bugs.
Birman Kat Title: Re: No Autonomous Nature Interactions on Community Lots Post by: talysman on 2008 August 06, 19:39:52 The overwhelming majority of Nature enthusiasts is just sadorandomness. I'm getting overwhelming Music & Dance.
I don't see why hobbies would interfere with going to work at all, except if they start an action with a hideously-long docking/undocking procedure. Birdwatching isn't that hard to cancel. Reading books is worse, and cooking a meal is much worse. The really bad stuff is non-autonomous, like studying.queue up simple stuff right before it's time to go to work, to prevent them from doing stuff that's hard to cancel. |
