Title: Hack Request: Leave computer user alone Post by: Simergy on 2008 February 22, 22:19:44 I did a search on "hack requests" and all but one were on the Podium.
waving arms, running in circles And, the request is: The people running from different floors, in the middle of queued instructions, in order to complain that someone is using the computer, are driving me nuts. There might be proper times to do this, as when they play that loud and annoying EA game, but that's not when the complaints happen. I've had five people standing around and bitching about someone using the computer to find a job, write a term paper, write a novel, etc. Please give us a fix for this. I'm sure someone else must find this a pain. Title: Re: Hack Request: Leave computer user alone Post by: Jelenedra on 2008 February 22, 22:21:43 I think this might be a twojeffs thing. I know something that made sims smarter about wanting to use computers in use. If you can't find it here, try inteenminator for twojeffs' stuff.
Title: Re: Hack Request: Leave computer user alone Post by: Simergy on 2008 February 22, 22:24:39 Thanx for the advice. I'll give it a try.
And, it's not that Sims want to use the comp themselves, they just don't want anyone else to use it. Argh Title: Re: Hack Request: Leave computer user alone Post by: Lord Darcy on 2008 February 23, 05:29:46 Wasn't it crammyboy's Computer Madness Fix (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,2766.0.html)?
Title: Re: Hack Request: Leave computer user alone Post by: Count Four on 2008 February 23, 06:07:30 It's "Turn Off Computer" that they're attempting when they do that, and it's stupid. Who (besides parents) decides that they must turn the computer off when someone else is using it? It's like the drive to go clean the shower because the object of their affection is taking a bath, or wanting to waste six hours relaxing on the bed because their precious beloved is asleep in the bed.
Sims get drowned over things like this. Title: Re: Hack Request: Leave computer user alone Post by: J. M. Pescado on 2008 February 23, 10:45:14 I think that a fix for this already exists in the Director's Cut.
