This doesn't really belong in the Google-fail thread, so I went here.

I just got my PC reformatted. While I had THOUGHT that I had backed up all of my CC, it turns out that I never got around to actually BURNING it onto anything.

Now with the clothes and furniture and whatnot I'm not too worried about that. I needed to start fresh on those anyways. I went a little crazy in the booty and downloaded a bunch of stuff I never use.

My only issue is all the skins, eyes, and hairs I lost. I had carefully made every single one in my downloads genetic, binned, and townized. And now I lost them. I shudder to think about starting all that over.

So...

I was wondering if anyone had hair, skin, or eyes that they wanted to share with me. I had ONCE given out copies of my own stuff, but it was all at Cuppa Joe... *ahem* Besides, most of the files I shared was through megaupload, so I think they weren't working anymore... Not sure. But please help me. I don't wanna go through all that again...

If you like enayla skins, Madame Mim has genticised them and other skins on her site Genensims (http://genensims.com/guest/MadameMim/skins.htm).  I believe there are also geneticised eyes there too.

I have binned hair if you want it I'll put it on my 4shared account when i get home from work, if you like.

Yeah, I remembered that Mim had all the skins I wanted. I think the only ones not there are the Louis skins and the Peggy payskins that I liked. Those were the ONLY skins I had in my game besides custom replacements.

As for eyes, I think the only ones I had in game were Enayla, Helaene, and Bruno. Oh! And Seomi.

I use exclusively enayla skins and eyes so unable to help you on that score :)

My hairs are a mixture of Peggy booty and XMsims with a bit of Raon mixed in there too.  Most are female, I don't have a large male hair collection.  They should all be binned although I think there are a few that were already binned that have some blondish shades in the brown bin  >:(  I can't remember whether I fixed those now.  Anyway I'll zip it up and let you know the link to my 4shared in an hour or so :)

I have only the styles you've seen in Awesomeland, but each of them is carefully and precisely binned and stripped to the highest available standards of quality. Every last piece of extraneous junk we presently know of has been ripped out. The cleanliness standard is higher than Maxian. I won't offer the contents of my hair bin as it is currently undergoing major revamping.

I use Louis default replacement skins, but I also have two shades between the four standard shades that I've geneticized. If you need or want those I could upload them somewhere. You can already find geneticized versions of virtually every Enayla eye here (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,7230.0.html).

I'm pretty sure everything is binned as it annoys me otherwise and jfades Wardrobe Wrangler is pretty easy to use so I would have done it myself if it wasn't already.

Everything is in folders by creators and recolours are separated.  I'm not currently at home but when i get there I'll post a list of exactly what there is.

On the XMSims stuff, do you know how you named the files? I.e. after the mesh or after the page number it was on?

I'm pretty sure I didn't rename them so they'll be under the mesh number as opposed to the page number.  It would probably be easier to stick the folder in and then check in Bodyshop to see which hairs are there, rather than check the site itself.  Although I seem to remember if you hover over the mesh on the site, it brings up their numbering system.  Unless I dreamt that.

It does. I was there getting some ones that weren't in your set. I was just making sure I wasn't getting duplicates.

I uploaded the two Louis skins that I geneticized. IIRC one is between S1 and S2 and the other one is between S3 and S4. NOTE! I decustomized these, too, so they won't appear in CAS. They will show up in Body Shop though. They will spin up in CAS when you hit the randomize button, but only at random. A simple workaround is to create a sim in BS with each of these skins and then save them, then later, in CAS you can open the saved sim folder thing and pick the one with the skin that you want. Then you can change whatever else you want about the sim and you'll be ready to go. :)
