It looks like you need to update. And organize better, I don't recognize several of those things. ;) Too many subfolders make me sad. My objects folder is insane with the sub-folders. There's a couple in there by Inge (ij...), TwoJeffs, and MultiPoly & the plot mod from creators at MTS2. I know where they're all from. I also have all the playsets and toys, the portapotty from Pet Stories, a couple of things from the test directory, and makebuyable.

Their just minor ones like the one that changes how the last names work when getting married. And believe it or not i still have the old, old, horribly old continous painting and the abductions hack. I love continous painting so i've never gotten rid of it. It's a great way to keep them occupied.

A lot of people, myself included, use their name as a login so you may want to edit it out before sharing with the rest of the world. It's an image, because I'm having a hard time getting the command line to recognize my sub-folders or something. I downloaded the latest Director's Cut to update before snapping the screenshot, so I took out the sandcastle fix and got a few other goodies. I see some other files I have that are not in the DC; I'm wondering specifically about fastpass and noretiredjobspam. Are they included in other things now? I'm also using uni_ltws_sns without the "required" ltwvariety because I don't care for functions dependent on interests, which are mutable. (If I had that one, I would probably just end up forcing my sims into the LTWs I desire by changing their interests and re-rolling the LTW.) I removed 35 files from the DC because their functions don't suit my playstyle, which is fairly lax. Post by: Invisigoth on 2007 December 21, 02:08:27 I've been using Jordi's inteenimated versions of no20khandouts and a few others, but I am seriously considering ditching the kitten killer so I'll go back to using the FFS versions of those hacks. If you care the reason that I've been reluctant to part with the kitten killer is because I really want to find a standalone miscarriage hack, but I haven't seen one anywhere. Yes, I know I'm not supposed to use noinstantlove with the kitten killer; that is part of why I'm dropping the kitten killer, actually. The complete list of the FFS hacks that I use is attached. I sort my objects separately, but I can list those pretty easily, I have kick the cheat, the LS objects, the fruitbowl, your version of the tanning bed, and the thinkingcap and noodlesoother stands.

I have default replacements for names, skins and faces. Between that and clean templates in spanky fresh hoods, regenerating townies and NPCs were just fine by me. I think I also hadn't bothered with anti-redundancy hack yet but I was starting to see the signs that I might want to.
I'm in the process of trying to reinstall so that I can install all the EPs but, again, nightmare, so no go as of yet. In the event that I pull it off before breaking every disk that's too old to return, my plan was to go grab BV everything (from all hacks and maybe some DC stuff). This set of hacks is causing problems within my game. My sims are unable to purchase vacation lots and when I invited a friend from a different household on vacation they appeared act like a pet (black and white icons, uncontrollable, appeared on the sim pet list) Edited: I am very unawesome, I didn't update some of my hacks for BV hence why I couldn't purchase vacation lots. But Sims having been invited from another household still act like pets (even when I removed all my hacks) so is it a feature or have I mislabelled a hack as a clothing item? When I added all the extra EPs I just took most of the hacks without worrying too much about whether I wanted them. At the moment the only other hacks in my game are Marvin Kosh's "button killers", teleporter shrub, portal detector & portal revealer. Normally I'd have Monique's computer and a few from DJ sims, but I took them out when I installed BV and haven't got round to checking compatability and putting things back.
If you don't use the whole directors cut, it's a bit of a pain to update - particularly spotting obsolete hacks. If you take the whole directors cut, you can delete all the contents of the old folder and put in the new stuff. Are all these INTJ etc Myers Briggs? If so I was ENTP last time I did a test. I was having some trouble with my game, so I was using clean pack installer to turn on and off hacks to find what was causing the problem. I wonder if those were ones that I was testing? (I recently took out the Fruitbowl of Awesomeness because I'm not sure what it does that the juicer doesn't, besides letting you autosell produce. I thought you could sell produce in OFB and that that was what it was for, but I guess not... Don't know what the Magic Wand's supposed to do either.) Honestly, I'm amazed there aren't any conflicts (well, HCDU does call up a couple, but they're ones that are already discussed in the readmes of the hacks as being benign.) I took screencaps of the folder, just to find out what ones are actually obsolete- there's got to be quite a few. Yes, I'm stupid for not clearing it out, but the game's been running smoothly so I never really thought about it... (And then I spent ages putting them in a text file when I realized I couldn't upload .jpgs here.) I have all EPS up to Seasons, fully patched, no stuff packs. So here's the list- and that's just my hacks folder! (almost forgot to put Inteen on there because it and its flavor packs are in the main Downloads folder... hmm, I think the ones I'm using are No Adult Teens, Risky Runaway/Sneakout/Honeymoon, and actually that's it. also the lottery move-in fix. The fruitbowl also lets you move stuff around in bulk and get a stock count - you can't do either with the maxis juicer. It provides less extra functionality if you also have a hacked juicer like the one from DJSims. Of course the fruitbowl is probably going to work fine in future EPs whereas maxis are almost bound to mess up the juicer so that the hacked juicer doesn't work any more and you lose your produce. You don't have to click every single fruit in inventory window for a gazillion time, as you can store up to 500 fruits in a single fruitbowl and simply give the bowl away to another sim just in one click. Even if you have a hacked juicer, you would find it quite useful. I only wish Pescado would make a similar object for fish as well, like fish pantry. I have SimWardrobe's fish packing station, but it's not quite the same.
