Since BV was installed, I've been unable to purchase the talking table - a $275 EAxis kitchen-type table.  It shows up as available and can be highlighted, but that's about it.

Curious if anyone else has had this happen.

Nope, mine is fine. Do you have any CC which may have overwritten, and thus, corrupted it?

I have a similar problem with the same table. It was mentioned before but the file causing that problem is not in my folder. I've been putting off finding which cc is causing it. My talking table is acting like it's only a 1 square table. I didn't notice that the chairs hadn't tucked itself into that side until my sims start hopping around in the middle of it while freaking out about a fire.

Sometimes the creator of CC dining table forgets to register all 3 new GUIDs required for 2-tiled dining table. Chances are that one of CC table is cloned from Talking Table, but the creator registered new GUID only for main Object Data, leaving other 2 GUIDs to conflict with the original. Although both CC and Talking Table show up in the catalog, the CC table will override Maxis table.
