Title: Deleting and teleporting back a sim Post by: ebonyspiral on 2007 November 14, 05:00:19 In the absence of a BV update for Crammyboy's 'Community Time Project' I was wondering whether this would be feasible as a simple workaround? Delete a sim with 'moveobjects' when he arrives home from a community lot and then summon him back with Inge's teleporter at the correct time. Can anyone confirm that doing this isn't going to cause problems? I've read differing reports that deleting a sim with moveobjects is ok, plus the fact I'd be bringing him back without re-starting the lot. But you need to bear in mind you will have the opposite problem to what happens when they come back from a community lot normally. Normally they come back tired and ready for bed, and it's still only breakfast time. If you use the teleporter to get him back in the evening, he will arrive completely greened up, and yet he was supposed to be tired. You can't win.

If I'm being strict, I'll have to get into the habit of noting down what they were when leaving the community lot. Thanks. Somewhere between a grin and an 'I'll gnaw your face off' glare. |
