Title: Saving Snapshots for storytelling?
Post by: Assmitten on 2007 November 13, 00:11:55
Hey yallz,

I'm sure this is a total PEBKAC, but I am taking pictures in my game and they are being saved in my downloads folder generically as "snapshot" and "thumbnail" so the next one overwrites the previous one, giving me no more than one snapshot at a time. Any ideas of how to change this? Looks like the snapshots that come with the game have unique gibberishy numbers to differentiate them. Thanks.

Hmm, that's weird, because they normally save with a new, gibberish name. Check to make sure the folder isn't read-only?

Ah, Joe, you're a champ. Don't know if that means much coming from a Tarto, but there it is.

*tips hat*

Are you looking in the Storytelling folder for your neighborhood, or the one for all hoods in the Sims 2 folder?  You want the neighborhood-specific one.

TY. I was looking in the right place. It was the read-only thing. I have not snapped a pic for several months, not since I got a new system with Vista. Still my dumbth, so I'm glad Joe helped.
