Title: Easels and inventories: no option to continue painting?
Post by: spaceface on 2007 October 17, 09:35:11
I do not recall this being a problem before BV, but now, if I put an easel with a half-finished painting in a sim's inventory, the sim no longer has the option to continue the painting but only to scrap it.

I'm pretty sure I've had that problem for a long time.  Also, when I send kids to uni, they can't finish paintings they started as teens when they return home afterwards.

It might be the different life stages, that the game somehow does not recognise the sim as being the original artist.

This was actually fixed in OFBp2, then rebroken again and possibly never refixed. It is probably still in Crammyland.

I had a quick look at Crammyland and I think Crammyboy's easel hack just forced sims to finish their ongoing painting instead of starting lots of new ones.
