THANKS THIS IS GREAT

The piano bug fix doesn't work with custom pianos, just like the pianofix. After I installed the patch I went and got one of the grand pianos from MTS2 and just now one of my sims was playing it and her fun bar was going down instead of up.

Notify the creator of the piano.  They will have to change it unless you are real familiar with SIMPE yourself.

Do you mean the bugfix hack or the bugfix for the piano in the patch? It's quite possible if the Maxis patch modified the piano item itself and the person on MTS2 cloned the piano before the patch but after uni (since uni introduced that bug) that may be why. The patch would probably only know the look for the guid of the original piano, I assume. So I guess that person probably needs to reclone the piano or else fix whatever it is in the behaviors that's causing that.

And they'd probably appreciate being told about the problem if they haven't noticed it already themselves.

I PMed her about it but I doubt if she will do anything about it because she knew that JMP's pianofix didn't work with her piano a long time ago and didn't do anything about it. Anyway, I'm testing out a bhav transplant right now. So far it worked perfectly on the first day but on the second day nobody went near it (figures) so if none of them play it on their own on the third day I'm going to have to make one of them play it.

Well, isn't there a place at MTS2 where you could ask for someone to try and make a new piano?
