Problem with autoyak

I didn't quite know where to post this as I couldn't find a thread for Autoyak, but I recently put the Seasons version from the hack directory in my game, and my sims were unable to call friends etc.  Once I reverted to the one I had before (5.11.2006) everything was fine.  I'm sure there's a reason for this that I haven't discovered, but I thought it might be worth reporting.

Do you have BV?  There's an updated Phone Hack in the hack directories -- maybe that will fix the problem.

Just arrived this morning, but I'm not ready to install it yet.  Actually, since putting the old autoyak back, there isn't a problem any more...just thought it was a bit odd that the newer one (which for some reason I'd never put in before) should cause a problem.

If your version was from Nov 2006, then you might not know about the efficiency improvement made to "call friends".

One of the places it was discussed was in this thread.

Take a look at that thread, and see if it sounds like what is happening in your game.

Oh, well, I prefer the version that lets them call every day.....keeps their social up and those with a zillion friends don't spend three sim weeks on the phone.
