CAS loading screen freezing.

When I go on CAS the loading screen comes up and then the game crashes. I know its not anything to do with any mods I installed because I tried it with out custom content. Can somebody tell me how to fix it or give me a link to a mod how I can fix it?

Actually I had a funny error last night. I installed AnyDVD, when I went to run Seasons, all I got was a small grey box with a red cross. Seasons runs from a Daemon virtual DVD drive. I had to uninstall and reinstall Seasons to get the game to run again.

Joshre just try uninstalling the most recent EP.

It wasn't a custom CAS screen, was it, by any chance? Those can be buggy.

I would try deleting the cache files first.

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2

Delete groups.cache, Accessoery.cache, cigen, and anything that starts with the word error.

No, it had only been installed a week, no custom fiddling at all except for the hood camera file and userstartup cheat.

Sara - I know you're talking to Joshre, but I never even thought of deleting those files. D'oh!
