Ok Here I am beggin again. Where do you get your bedding? I would like some well crafted bedding.


Also Paintings. I am talking about the ones that you put in the new paintings folder in our The sims 2 folder. Not ones that can be bought in the game.

Also does anyone know where those picture frames for the paintable paintings are?

All of my sim-painted custom paintings are in-game images. Sometimes I tweak them a bit. As for bedding, unfortunately most of mine is from TSR. (gag)

I don't tend to use much custom bedding, but Jeni at TSR has some lovely ones. Most of them have curtains and rugs to match too. I use my photos from the game to make custom paintings.

For paintings, I go to art.com and select images I like that will fit in the frame. Sims of mine have painted like Picasso, Gaugin, and Hockney, much to my benefit.

Windkeeper did some excellent frames for paintable paintings over at TSR. Well worth pirating. In the booty under "custom frames."

If you want 'something completely different' (apologies to Monty Python fans), you can make you own paintings from photos from the vintage fabric that I sell...

Some of these also can make great wallpapers in game.

You'll need to resize/crop them for both the paintings and wallpaper usage as I size these for eBay item descriptions.

I made a ton of sim quilts almost two years ago and still use some of them.  All of them work just as well on single beds, too, as shown in screenshots of the individual items in each set.  A few of them sucked, but the ones I still really like and use all the time are here:

Trouble is with a lot of bedding is that they look gorgeous on double beds, but not so good on single beds. Thats why I tend to download patterned bedding rather than ones with pictures/large designs on them. For some reason I have a lot of green bedding in game although I'm not a fan of green!

Same here. I have some really nice bedding in-game, and I know I got it from MTS2. I just can't remember who made it I'll go look and post back.

That's a very loaded question as it's all down to personal taste; I tend to go for modern patterns/designs in bedding and something similar for paintings.

I've got a lot of flipchick74 bedding from MTS2 - looks great and works both on double/single beds. I've also got quite a bit of bedding from TSR, Waverley's bedroom accents coordinating sets are good.

I haven't bothered much with the painting folder as yet as I tend to stick with the buyable paintings in game and sell sim paintings for all those 'Sell a Masterpiece' wants. I tend to use digital images of my own work (painting/photograph) and manipulate them with Photoshop. As an alternative have a look at some of the websites which sell digital prints and save some images from them. Museum/gallery websites are also a good source.

I thought I might as well share what I do use in the way of buyable art as it's taken a long time to find good quality paintings that look right in game.
There are tons of recolours of one of the Mango Sims paintings (http://mangosims2.free.fr/meubles.htm for the mesh) at Bines Sims Revue (http://www.binessimsrevue.de) as well as some good Maxis recolours. To locate the paintings click on Objects under the Sims2 menu section on the left, then click on Bines Recolours then paintings. Sims2Play (http://sims-2.gameslife.ru) are another good source of paintings and Holy Simoly also have a couple (http://www.holysimoly.com).

I have a few beddings from holy simoly, ATS2 and various artists at MTS2, just as others yet wrote above. For the most part, however, I do them myself, with textures I like.
I'm not so good at artistic creation, so I've put up for download only two of them (those I think are the better). If anybody likes them, they're right here at MTS2.

I love to theme my houses and had a hard time finding bedding for the 1950's & 60's periods until I ran across agaliha5. Her sock monkey bedding tickled me so much I had to see what else she had to offer. I've been very pleased with her stuff.

I'm so embarrassed. I included a picture on my bedding page that was not one I had made. I removed the picture now, and it was never included in the zip file. I think you can find the blue and green seashells bedding at MTS2, but I looked and looked for a link and didn't find it.
