When we found out that christianlov pulled all his downloads, there was no notice to anyone on staff.  I PM'd him on the site, thinking that he'd at least check his PM's (admins can do that).  But I got no response... and the e-mail address that was tied to his profile didn't seem legit.  At least we know *who* he is now.  I didn't read that thread on S2C.  I also didn't know that Simsky was a team of people.  Unless his name is Dave Luv, too (because he has some mods under that nick on MTS2 as well, and they still exist).

I poked around on Simsky's site and came across this note from Dave posted in the Guestbook in response to a visitor enquiry about two of Christianlov's mods:

This is sad.  I really like his all-in-one npc and without his skintone selector, it would be rather hard to do townie makeovers.

I'm sorry to see him go.  I couldn't have played Pets without his various pet-hacks (particularly the auto-refilling food bowl, escape-proof bird cage, and the Pet Teleporter.)

I admit to being somewhat startled that he's decided to focus more on TS1 stuff.  I didn't think there was much demand for that sort of thing anymore....

Actually, he's not Dave at Simsky at all.  I sound this reply from Dave at inSIM:

When Elranda emailed me, I thought she was talking about my TS2 mods (because I'm really focusing on TS1 now). In the next days, many players started to ask me about Christianlov's mods, so I was just OMG, is it a joke or what ;o)? Then I found this thread (and other threads refering to this one).

Christianluv kinda disappeared for a couple of months.  Just before Christmas he told us (his thread dwellers) that he was getting bogged down with exams (I thikn he's in university).  Then no updates for a couple of months.  He surfaced to make one or two posts.......and then, poof!  He was gone!  School stuff maybe?

Dead people don't take the time to pull all their files before dropping dead. Sounds more like drama.
