Skadi when you edit the registry don't change the hexadecimal value from 1.  I have just changed mine and it is now working, if it still doesn't work for you then you may need to copy the us-en support file over.  If you have probblems then post back here and I will post pathways.

Quit enabling the sheep. I've switched the clock back and forth in my game. I know it works. Skadi is bleating that it doesn't in an effort to get someone to hold his hand and repeat the instructions once again because he's too lazy to work it out himself.

Interesting.
Not only does the moron refuse to read posts, he/she decides that of course he/she knows better than the 2 people that are saying theyre having issues.  Throw in a couple of calls of OMGZZ U IS A SHEEP from someone whos been here less than a month and you have, ladies and gentleman, a full blown knowitall sheep straight from the BBS.
Does woolprop scare you little one? aww *pets hitch*

Good god, I feel like there's some sort of conspiracy.

You guys ARE still talking about Sims 2, right? "Celebration" isn't some sort of KGB code, is it? "Registry" has nothing to do with Al Queda, right?!

..hehe.. Queda... aqueduct... yes, that's totally what I meant, spellcheck

I installed what I believe is an european version of Celebration and it changed a bunch of my sims' name.  Blah.  I am going to uinstall and restore from backup and hope that fixes it.

You basically getting the same thing we did Angelyne.

If you follow the link to the bbs, and go through those steps, it should fix everything for you.
If not then uninstall.

I've uninstalled for now.  Didn't seem that exciting to me anyway.  Maybe I'll install it again at a later date.  Do you find it worth the effort?

PS.  Changing first names is a VeryBadThingTM

Once is was installed Angelyne you should have been able to put your backed up neighbourhoods over the top of the screwed ones and had things back to normal name wise.  Quite frankly for what was in th pack and the amount of grief it caused I don't think it was really worth it.

To be honest, it was worth it only cause I create.

I'll probably end up ripping the EA textures and remeshing the dresses and stuff.

I don't think it added any new socials or special behaviour, which I would have loved.
Like something to make the bridesmaids dress the same, or different cake interactions. The furniture is cheap, therefore doesn't give you any reason to use it. I still think Glamour gave you the most, but this is better than Family Fun and the Holiday pack [just cause you can use it anytime]

Yah had same thing happen here and I used the EA Downloader thingy for the stuff pack. I was a little annoyed with the name changes and will prolly have to do a bit of a clean up. But I like that they renamed one of my adult male townies to Diane, I'll prolly leave things as they are until I get irritated enough to do something about it.

Did that, no go.  The changes aren't part of the neigbourhood file? Very weird.  Uninstalled, restored my backup and it was back to normal.  Maybe the registry fix will take care of it.  When people like Skadi starts producing recolors that are must-have, I'll try it again.  Untill then Maxis can stuff it Smiley
