Here are the specs for my new computer (that I bought just to play the Sims 2):

] Alienware Aurora™ m9700

Processor: AMD Turion™ 64 Mobile ML40 2.2GHz 800MHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache
Operating System (Office software not included): Genuine Windows® XP Professional - Free Upgrade to Windows Vista Business!
Chassis: 17" WideUXGA 1920 x 1200 LCD with Clearview Technology - Saucer Silver
Motherboard: Alienware® NVIDIA® Mobile SLi Chipset
Memory: 2GB Dual Channel DDR SO-DIMM at 400MHz - 2 x 1024MB
System Drive: Single Drive Configuration - 80GB Serial ATA 1.5Gb/s 7,200 RPM w/ NCQ & 8MB Cache
Optical Drive: 8X Dual Layer DVD+/-RW & 24X CD-RW Burner w/Software
Video/Graphics Card: Dual 512MB NVidia® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS - SLI Enabled
Sound Card: High-Definition Audio with surround sound

Well, I'm disappointed.  I have updated all my drivers after trying to install Celebration (I have all the EPs and stuff packs).  I had a terrible time getting it to install.  Anyway, after I got Celebration installed, none of my ponds show the fish swimming any more.  These same ponds had fish before the install.  (My sims can still fish, however.)  I checked my graphics settings and they are all on high.  The game runs slowly with lots of lag on large lots at the best of times.
