Custom Hair and Sims who come with the game

I have been trying to find out why the premade in-game Sims who wore custom hair still showed their original hair trait when I used SimEnhancer2. The answer is on page 71 of the Seasons guide book. After choosing the new hair with the mirror you must click on "set hair per outfit" in the middle of the change appearance screen for it to become their new personality trait. Sims made in CAS only have the choice of the hair you assign them, but the original bunch must have have this done for the new trait to take effect.

This has been a real pain to figure out why there are no  "3 lightening bolts" in my entire hood. So whenever you change the hair color you must use the "set hair per outfit" for it to show up as a trait. Going from blond to black whill still show them as having black hair without it..
