Making non-outerwear outerwear

Okay, is it possible. To make non-outerwear in the game actually be outerwear. What I mean is removing the restriction of the 'outerwear' category. I have way too many clothing to go through each and individual one that haven't been made outwear into outerwear (when they obviously would fit)

Also, is it possible to make it so that any hairstyle is available to any clothing? My one sim needs his knight helmet on. All the time. Even in the shower.

There is a hack on modthesims2 with a colection of everyday clothes changed to outerwear.
