I remember this coming up in a thread a while back, after NL came out, I think, but I haven't seen any mention of it since. Please feel free to hit me if I'm wrong. I can take it. I used to play with showheadlines off because this little bug REALLY got annoying, but the past couple of months, I've had headlines on, and I don't remember seeing this. Not since...I don't even know when. Pre-Pets, maybe? No clue. Bradley takes a shower, and everyone on the lot, INCLUDING THE CAT, has a problem with it. They're even spawning multiple thought bubbles on the subject.  Was this fixed in a prior EP and is just now resurfacing in Seasons? Actually, this is the first time I've even seen this in Seasons, come to think of it, after playing for a few days. It's one of those things that really jumps out at you when it happens, so I don't see how I would have missed it if it was happening, before. Has anything been done, Awesome or otherwise, to stop this? It SUCKS. |

Poor Bradley. Maybe he needs to change to Irish Spring ("but I like it too") or something.  Actually Brynne, I've never seen this before and I'll be interested to see the replies. |

I've not seen it quite that bad, but I have noticed pets having that thought bubble when someone in the house is taking a shower. Don't remember seeing that before seasons.

Thought bubbles have been broken (in my opinion) since Nightlife. Pleasure and Grilled Cheese sims are stuck w/ Family thought bubbles like adopting babies and getting married.
I didn't know you could turn them off.

I thought it was normal for some reason. Pretty much any time a person uses the loo, everyone on my lots gets that thought bubble. It's like they're all complaining that not only is the room in use (because we all know that sims like to party in the bathroom), but that they expect the sim in question to break something, leave toothpaste in the sink, or miss the toilet entirely...

we all know that sims like to party in the bathroom They really do. I'm doing the Insane Asylum Challenge. I've built them an enormous day room with everything the challenge allows, and where does everybody end up? In front of the single solitary toilet that's supposed to serve eight people. But it's not that they're lining up to use it; they're having pillow fights or playing red hands. Oh, sure if I wanted to have a pillow fight, I'd head for a 3x4 room instead of a room with space to run around in. Stupid sims. Does anybody know WHY they love the bathroom so much? |

I've had this problem too. It's like every sim can smell the umm... It's happened since day 1 of the base game, and you kind of have to wonder if this wasn't the reason. Maybe it's a joke? I think they do it even if the sim is just showering though too. |

Well, all Bradley was DOING was showering. You'd think my sims would see that as a good thing, as hygiene-obsessed as they are!
Elvie: type "showheadlines off" in the cheat box to get rid of them. Won't get rid of the heart-fart bubbles, though.

Do sims gravitate toward rooms with high environment scores?
It's hard to have a bathroom that doesn't have a high score if you've got the expensive toilet and showers.
Of course, someone's going to show up and say BATHROOMUSESYOU. And that's probably a good idea.

Yes. I just want a little piss break and have things lined up after it, and they are constantly being pulled into the showers and pissing (har har) me off.

Really? The way I understood it works is, if BUY grabs them and they have less than full hygiene, they shower. |

If you have stuff queued up after the BUY and they aren't that dirty, they won't shower. But if nothing is queued up and they are a bit dirty, they'll go ahead and shower. My teens don't have acne hardly at all since I started using BUY.

Does anybody know WHY they love the bathroom so much? I am doing the same challenge, and as far as I can tell, the reason why they hang around the bathrooms so much is because they all head that way at the same time. In the process of trying to shoo each other out, they get distracted and play red hands or kicky ball. |
