Wardrobe error and leftovers vanishing.

Firstly, getting an error when trying to plan outfit - log attached. I'm guessing this is due to hacks, I'm currently using all that have been "approved" for use, so may be a problem with one of them.
Secondly, I can put leftovers away but when I try to get them out again I select the leftovers I want and the sim opens the door and closes it again - leftovers vanishing into the ether. There's no error log for this, however. Ideas?

How many monique hacks do you have? I'm guessing it's one of those.

And it will probably be a bit before they're updated, since delphy turned off uploads to MTS2 for a couple of days...

I'm not sure that was particularly good timing
BTW no one better be trying to play seasons with my permafridge hack in!

Is it a custom fridge/wardrobe, if so there's your answer they need updating.

You can put leftovers in any fridge but can only get them out of Maxis fridges because they are updated for the option while custom fridges (all made before Seasons) aren't. All your custom fridges will be this way so for now, I'm still using my inventory which is annoying because they put all serving platters in one category so my waffles, steaks, omelets and fish are all one thumbnail.
Hopefully, DJ Sims will come out with a new updater for Seasons soon. I just finished updating all my aquariums, couches and tvs for Pets.

Why not, Inge? The only report I've seen about it so far says it works fine.

Neither the fridges nor the wardrobes are custom. I turned off all my hacks and turned them on again using clean installer but the problem (at least with the leftovers) has disappeared without removing any hacks - what caused it, since it created no logs or errors, is a mystery. The wardrobe error is intermittent, it will work perfectly to plan outfit in a home and then suddenly will no longer work and cause errors. The only non-awesome hack I have in is Monique's computer, and I'm only keeping that in so my sims's mortgages continue to work as usual until it's updated, I don't touch the computer otherwise.

My fridge patch reinitialises all fridges at midnight every day. That I dare say would mean any garden produce or leftovers you put in there would vanish every midnight, too. Unless.... unless the fridge's inventory does *not* get reset when it inits, in which case the patch should be fine

Monique's computer has been updated for Seasons. Get the new version from MTS2.

Hmm, perhaps when I install Pets I'll give that a try and see...

I read someplace that it didn't- only the normal food points got refreshed but the user could keep leftovers overnight just fine.
ETA: I'm not sure because I never play with multiple fridges, but someone said if you put leftovers in a custom fridge that won't support taking them out, you can take them out of a maxis fridge anywhere on the lot, leading me to believe that the leftovers aren't stored in the fridge object itself, but in some sort of global container for the family.

Gawd how stupid! I suppose it's like outfits. I really do think outfits should be in a sim's inventory so they move out *with* their clothes, and the same outfit can't be worn by the whole household on the same day! Once they have grown out of them, the player could use normal inventory controls to hand them down to another sim.

Clothes in the inventory would certainly solve the immense wardrobe problems. JM talked about getting a Salvation Army van or similar to come and take away old clothes, once upon a time, but it must either have not been possible to implement or he couldn't be bothered.

You can do it in SimPe, take a look at this tutorial:

It gets better... if a preggo Sim who normally wears custom jammies (or whatever) moves out, after she has the baby, her custom jammies are gone and she has to wear the ugly Maxis ones! I haven't tried this again after getting Squinge's wear anything as maternity clothes fix.
