Testing cheats slow down
«

Hard drive crashed and burned over the summer. Since then my reloaded game slows to a crawl whenever I turn testing cheats on. Otherwise the game runs fine. The biggest difference between then and now is a change in virus scanners, but I did try turning off the scanner and running my game to see if it made a difference. Still crawled. Any suggestions?

Low level scan disk. You probably have some bad sectors.

Did you get a new harddrive after the crash? If so, maybe it's just slower than your old one was.

New HD - Same make as original, twice as fast.
