Own 5 top-level buisinesses question...

One of my fortune sims rolled the "Own 5 top-level buisinesses" LTW, but he has fulfilled that LTW once already (all businesses sold off now).
Does he want to own five more top-level businesses, or is the want unfulfillable?
I'm going to re-roll it forcefully either way, just wondering...

It's like 'reaching the top of your career' LTW I guess-can be done over and over again. Very tedious. I hate that 'own 5 top level businesses' want. I always re-roll it

That' why I'm so annoyed.  I've already done it once.
The thing is, I don't think he's fulfilled any other LTWs since he did.  Can he roll the same one twice in a row, or did he some how fulfill it and then party forget about it?

I've fulfilled the "own 5 top businesses" LTW by having the sim own one business and get it up to a level 10. Leave some dirty dishes around, argue with customers, etc. to drop a few loyalty stars. The level of the business will drop to level 9. Clean up the place, chat up the customers and bring the level back to 10. Lather, rinse and repeat. Each time the business gets back to level 10 the sim gets another memory. When there's 5 of these memories the LTW is fulfilled. Why the game doesn't make the distinction that there's only one business I don't know. But it makes the process a little more doable and much less annoying.

You're welcome Emma.  I know it's an exploit but I can barely stand most businesses. I'm into the family raising and social stuff so the micromanagement of businesses bores me to tears. I'll take whatever advantages I can get so I don't have to have more than one business per sim. My houses of "ill repute" however are quite fun. With TwoJeffs ACR I love to sit back and be entertained by my sims and their escapades.

I'm with you, Cabelle. I'd love some of the bennies you can get from having high ranked businesses, but don't really like the game play of them.

I'm finding that the only two LTW aspirations I'm really hating and reroll are 'Own 5 Top Ranked Businesses' and 'Have 50 Dream Dates'.

I don't even need to try to exploit it, it just happens on its own, unavoidably. You get to level 10, but you're only hanging on by a hair, and immediately, the customer that got the star promptly loses it again, regains it, lose it, often several times.
