I assume those lots were empty before being packaged, so could it be an EP conflict (Pets vs. No Pets)?

You could try to package the lots while using Numenor's EP switcher.

I downloaded one of the residential lots, and the first thing that I noticed was the price tag of over §1.000.000.000! Was it made of gold? Cheesy

But I couldn't play it either, because the game crashed when trying to load the lot. Then, I opened it in SimPe and deleted some resources (Sim Relations, Sim Scores, etc), but I still couldn't load the lot, so it appears to be un-salvageable.

But don't rely on my game to test the lots, as even some lots that I made have been crashing randomly without any discernible cause Sad

If you delete those resources in an otherwise normal (working) lot, the lot becomes free funnily enough.

If you delete the "Simdescription"  in a Lotfile it costs only the price of the empty Lot without the House ,Furniture etc. I am not sure if deleting the scores is a good idea.

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

ive had a problem where i couldnt get lots to install,  even lots i saved with 'favorite'  houses, furnished and ready to go but with no people.   since  late uni i think.  i suppose i should test this to see if it magically fixed itself.    it would run, i would find the items it would create under Downloads, which i always subdivide so its obvious, but the house would no longer show up in my housebin.   not any of them.   not even the skeleton of a tiny house.
