sims not realising they've been cured of lycanthropy

1. Sims werewolfified
2. Obedience trainer called, arrives in the morning, potions bought
3. Sims take the potion, all seems well
4. They get the memory of being cured, and act cured but the want isn't fulfilled
5. FURTHERMORE, everyone else keeps rolling wants for those sims to be cured/howl/stay werewolves/etc.  Which means, due to werewolf obsession, I can't fill their aspiration bars at all.

Does this sound like a hack conflict (although all my hacks are awesome)?  Or is the game just this broken?
