Appreciate confirmation on becoming friends with a Pet glitch

Hello again,

Did some googling and there seems to be a problem with pet to sim relationships.  More especially a want "Become freinds with Pet" want that never gets satisfied because the relationship does not get "flagged".  All my households with a pet has had a sim come up with this want but never gets satisfied so before I go on a wild witch hunt just to find out it isn't a mod problem would appreciate someone confirming this is definitely another Maxis screw-up.

You don't play with any outdated copies of Kitten Killer or any similiar mod affecting friendship scores, do you?

No I don't I'm pulling out "closer family" and "woohoo teens" and see what that does.  I never have used inteenimator and don't plan on using it. 

Edit:  Thanks for the advice Rose the mod causing the problem was WOOHOO TEENS.  Damn!  One of my favorite mods too.  May just leave it in there and live with this glitch until the updated Woohoo teens is released.  Take care Rose.

they do get flagged with little cute paw prints, double paw prints and eventually master or mine for cats.

Or, just use TwoJeffs Autonomous Casual Romance mod, which has its own support for teen woohoo.  That'll keep you going until Jase gets around to updating woohoo teens for Pets.

Who would keep a glitch as a pet? Is that like something from Reboot?

My sims pet-friend-wants work fine, but the memories that show up are messed up. Sims get the "Sim became mine" memory, which I assume is supposed to be for cats, whenever they make friends with a pet.

I had that with an old version of noinstantloves (in the director's cut). It was updated.

Woohoo Teens is known to be incompatible with Pets and is not scheduled to be updated until after the InTeenimator is fixed.
