I have a family with 14 kids and I cloned the male in Cas and then changed the clone to female all while in CAS . My problem is that this male who thanks to Brynne's Bayfeild genes is drop dead gorgeous has produced 8 sons and six daughters all six daughters invariably have transitioned with Blonde Hair and the sons have all transitioned to toddlerhood with an animal head instead of hair. the mother of the 14 kids is Kaylynn Langerak the former maid. the Clone is named Aimee Tricou she marrried one of the illegitimate Tricou kids. she and her sim Hubby had a son Andrew who transitioned to toddlerhood with.... you guessed it a animal head instead of hair. I am sick of having to use insim to give these toddler boys Hair! is there a cure for this problem?

You can change toddler's hair ingame with any mirror since OFB. I think OFB brought the animal heads too... tho I admit I hate them also. There's hacks to get rid of some of this stuff, but it doesn't get rid of it in the way I want (iirc, I think it did hats and OFB uniforms and... well I like hats sometimes, so I don't wanna do that...) They really need to recategorize all the junk they added that's cluttering up the place.

What's worse, without 'em the lack of choice for toddler hair (without custom content, of course) is extremely noticeable. More furry stuff than anything else. bleh.

There's a whole bunch of mods that have appeared over on MTS2 in the last couple of days that enable more hairstyles for toddlers and kids, including baseball hats and the like. Those would probably offset the loss of the furry stuff.

Huh. My toddlers always transition with the same exact hair. Short fuz for boys, the pre-pixie style for girls. I always have to change it if I want something different, and then each hairstyle for age transitions chain off of that.
I've occasionally used the frog hat, but never the animal heads.

Me too. I think it's because none of my sims ever had a default maxis hair as genetic, so that's the only one they can pass on to their kids. |

I occasionally get an animal head, but I seem to always get the furry outfits.
