Even though I have the dayly gardner intalled, he/she still can't keep up with the work on some of the bigger houses in my lot. Can someone make a mod so you can hire multiple gardeners and maids?

Get Christianlov's all-in-one's over at MTS2. You can hire as many as you want, and can assign which ones do which chores.

Well.. you could just get 2 Jeffs "perfect garden" hack that basically freezes the garden at perfection and then you never need to worry about trimming hedges, flowers dying or weeds sprouting (except for where puddles happen.. I'm pretty sure weeds still happen then).

I wonder if a "macro garden" could be made and added to the macrotastic hack?
My game tends to slow to a crawl when the mailman, the gardener, the maid and some random jogger all decide to stop by just as my Sim heads to work.. so I got rid of the gardener.. he was boring to watch anyway. I wish our sims received cleaning or creativity points for doing their own gardening.. but since they don't I'll stick with "perfect plants".

Err...it already has been. It's been there. Since the very first or second version. Maybe if you didn't cheat so outrageously, you might notice.

There is a old but still compatible Hack called "Gardening is Fun" at MTS2.
http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=36532
So if fun is enough for you get it. Even Visitors are used to Garden for Fun sometimes.
I have all EPīs and Stuffpacks and it works fine.

I've always thought it was strange that they don't get points of some kind for gardening, which is why I don't bother sending them to do it very often. I'm hoping that the expansion pack coming up after the non-existent one that apparently will include growing things and similar gardenng-type stuff will have something like that in it.

Compatible? That hack causes game crashes if any XP is installed and money trees are used, apparently.

Hmm.. didn't realize that by using 2Jeff's hack I was "cheating outrageously". If gardening actually did something for a sim.. I would have their butts out there weeding, planting, trimming and harvesting.. but it doesn't so for my game plants are merely decoration.
Since I do use that hack macro gardening has never shown up for me <shrug>.

Yea, it won't show up if there's no gardening to do on a lot. Have one of your sims over-water the plants so they sprout weeds, and it'll re-appear.
