Since hack-wishes are flavour of the week...

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Here's the hack I want: a hack that makes kids who are in private school change into civvies when they get home from class, and not wander the neighbourhood always dressed in school uniform.

Revealing piece of personal info: I went to an exclusive private girls's school (if you are from Melbourne you can guess it in 3 tries or fewer), and I know that I and nearly all of my friends had to change out of our uniforms practically the second we got home from school. Not that we argued about this, mind you, but still.

All the kids in my hood are in private school, and it is kind of dull and unrealistic the way they wear uniforms all the time. I can understand it if they come home with your kid on the school bus, but not when they are invited over to play on the weekend, for god's sake.

Sims tend to wear their "special" override uniform if that was the last thing they wore. If you change them into something else, it usually stops. I think Crammyboy had something to make sure they wore their normal uniforms instead of job/school uniforms.

Squinge has an unawsome thing so that they don't wear those uniforms at all.

I use it just because I got sick of sending everyone to the dresser immediately upon arriving home. I hate looking at those shitty uniforms.

I really need to get that Crammyboy fix sometime whenever I feel like resetting the game.

You could also try Inge's clothes changing doors. Sims coming home from school or work will change into casual when they go through the front door.

EDIT: Here's the link. It's the ones called ComeHomeDoor. She has 7 different ones to match Maxis doors.

The visiting kid coming home on the school bus still wears their uniform.

That looks like a neat solution.
