Isn't there a hack somewhere that makes visitors stay at the front door until greeted instead of wandering all over the place?

I believe it's frontdoorhack...  I read this somewhere else and have just installed it, but haven't tried it out yet.

The frontdoor hack is only for delivery NPCs:

Perhaps it helps with regular visitors too, I am not sure - you have to ask JMP.

It works with mine!  That and the quieter doorbell are soooo useful - you can order food at 3.00 am without waking the kids up, and you don't have to chase round the lot in your pjs to find the delivery person!
