THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I have Uni and NL only. I made a neighborhood cemetery (which works perfectly--moving within a subhood seems to be fine, although in a previous install I lost all my graves trying to use the downtown one).

I had Buzz Grunt resurrect Lyla...it worked beautifully, and she was added to the family, her personality, interests and skills (carefully detailed in SimPE) all intact. Ripp also resurrected his townie gf who--to my surprise--was also added to the family, but OK (although they can't actually date anymore which is sad.) I needed to do a bit of cosmetic surgery on Lyla, but that was the only apparent glitch in the resurrection process.

However, when I returned to the cemetery the tombstones were still there, right where they'd been before the resurrection took place. Weren't they supposed to disappear? What will happen if I delete them? Will I lose my characters?

Are they visible when you go to the cemetery in build/buy mode? If that's the case I think it's normal. If you send a sim to the lot the tombstones should now be gone. In my game at least it takes sending a sim to the lot to make the tombstones disappear.

I have a possible solution to make Ripp able to romance his former girlfriend. I had the same problem with all the formerly married couples when I resurrected the Tricous. They had some romantic interactions available (kiss, hug & flirt) but they couldn't makeout, go on date, get engaged, etc. It was as though something with the updated Nightlife patch "broke" the resurrection process and made them pseudo-family. I saw a few posts and stories on the TS2 site that a dose of the love potion fixes things. And it does, I was able to remarry all the Tricous and they each had full romantic interactions back. So try having Ripp buy some love potion from the gypsy and see if that will make them able to go on dates and such again.

They're visible in build/buy. They were gone when I sent one of my sims to the lot...and then, after he returned home, I checked and they are still there in build/buy. Too odd!

Make sure you have the no unlink on delete hack installed in your game then just remove them from the lot.
