I just had a pleasure sim roll a fear of going broke. I've never seen this before, is this new with OFB/patch2? It happened when she went to a lot with a ticket machine. I guess she feared staying there to long paying by the hour and thus going broke, lol.

Are you sure it wasn't a fear of marrying a member of the Broke family???

That's one I've not seen before. It sounds like an OFB type fear. I had a romance sim get a 'fear of being stinky' the other day, which I'd never seen before and made me giggle But that's probably been in the game since NL.

I had a romance Virgo teenager roll that fear when I only had the base game - it's normally high neatness sims who get it! But this teen rolled the fear quite often.

Well I know it definitely had nothing to do with the Broke family, as this is a custom hood. I'll have to check her neatness level. What's funny is that she shares a house with a roommate and her daughter and they only have about $5k, so she is already nearly broke. I guess she fears losing the little she does have.

Sorry, cross-purposes. It was ebonyspiral's mention of the "fear of being stinky" that I was referring to. I've never seen the fear of going broke, but if the sim were a fortune sim, then it would make sense along with the repoman fear.
However, pleasure seem to have a mishmash of wants and fears from time to time. I had one who not only rolled the go to college want (which pleased on of her parents since he was knowledge) but when whe got there she rolled all the do assignment, write term paper wants - and then rolled two different major wants! One was art, which made sense as her LTW was celebrity chef, but the other was politics (she'd had a teen job in politics - maybe that's why).

I guess I never pay attention to my simmies fears. O_o I didn't know that either one of those are possible.
Mostly I get fears about SOs being unfaithful or rejecting them for a woohoo or something else equally depressing. Why don't any of my sims have ANY self confidence?

Well, I guess even the most self-confident people have fears! I wonder what David Beckham's are?

LMAO One of David's biggest fears is that his Pepsi cans aren't lined up properly in the fridge. (He suffers from OCD)

I wish I had any of them get those fears... well, they get the Woohoo rejection one, but there's little chance of that, ever Then again, I don't usually get Romance Sims married, either, but when I did, no fears like that... blah. I'd like to see more of the Wants and Fears that I haven't seen before; by now they're all getting pretty predictable. Dates make things a little different, though I know I can count on them to finally Want to marry their significant other on a date. Only twice without dates have I ever had a Sim Want to marry someone - which he rolled up right after his first kiss with her (also first kiss ever) in college. They're obsessed with each other, worse than three-bolters, but they just have two. Anyway, once on a date I had a Sim Fear that his ex-steady girlfriend was stinky, on a home lot, and she was nowhere around. That was kind of out of the blue, heh.

I like how sims will get a fear that their baby will reject them for playing with them.

I've seen the fear of going broke in pleasure sims especially ever since installing NL. Then again, I probably have more Pleasure sims than most...

I like the fear of changing nappies myself - very realistic.

But then they immediately roll up a want to play or cuddle with the baby, so that makes up for it.
